Relax in Myrtle Cottage at The Old Thatch, Pitney

Myrtle cottage is a modern, dedicated living space annexed to our 17th century thatched cottage. Pitney itself is a delightful small village situated above The Levels. There is a traditional pub serving real ales, local ciders and great home cooked food and the superb Pitney Farm shop offering organic meat and veg from the mixed farm & market garden. The area offers lovely walks directly from our garden up into the hills at High Ham or down on to The Levels and the river Carey.

The Annexe, Old Churchway Cottage

The annexe is situated in the heart of the Somerset Levels , well above any flood land and easily accessed from the M5 and A303. Completely self contained, it is the ideal base for exploring the region. Located in the village of Curry Rivel, you are in walking distance of convenience stores, garage, post office, and pub - serving coffee, meals, ales and cider. The ancient town of Langport is under 2 miles away and Glastonbury, Wells and Taunton within easy reach.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay.Located off the beaten track and down a quiet country lane, Hillview is a comfortable and well-appointed bungalow, perfectly situated for exploring the Somerset Levels and Moors and the delights of this magical county. There is plenty of outside space and you are welcome to make use of the all weather tennis court, bicycles can be provided so you can explore the local area.

We have recently redecorated the cottage in simple neutral tones. It is all on one level so ideal for older and younger guests alike. If you are traveling with infants we can provide baby specific kit (high chair/ travel costs/ toys etc). We can also provide breakfast hampers with our own eggs and home made jams and marmalades
