De host was erg vriendelijk. Het huisje is een waar paradijs. Erg mooi. De host gaf ons voor de eerste avond een tip voor het eten, waar we erg blij mee waren. En deze was erg goed en lekker. We waren erg blij met de tuin, zwembad, deze is niet verwarmd. We hebben ons super vermaakt voor 2 dagen, want de stad Skopje zelf vonden we persoonlijk niet zo fijn. Wij zijn natuurmensen en hebben genoten van de Matka Canyon.

Super mooie locatie! Jammer dat als je niet tussen 15u00 en 16u00 aankomt je zelf 800m moeten lopen (staat beschreven bij hun beschrijving) maar dit was een enorm zware klim met valiezen! Echt niet aan te raden! Als je naar boven wou met de jeep moet je er nog eens extra voor betalen! Je had eigenlijk geen keuze. We hadden paar weken op voorhand aan gegeven het bad met wijn te willen! Dit werd bevestigd maar op de dag zelf niet in orde gebracht, heel jammer! Ze gaven eerst als uitleg gebrek aan water maar het bad zat vol ijskoud water met veel insecten! Achteraf zeiden ze dat dit niet kon door weersomstandigheden, raar dat ze hun uitleg veranderde met een ander excuus!Wordt heel warm in de iglo, wel wat afval en stenen achter de iglo! Niet echt proper! Voor de rest was het uitzicht adembenemend en heel leuk dat we een film konden kijken!

The Grizzly igloos are something else! Just imagine grabbing a cup of hit coffee sitting in the chair above the clouds listening to the birds sing! It is worth it without a doubt! I think the oltion you get here is the most comfortable thing money can buy when you consider where you are and why are you there. Dont expect spotless place, because you are on top of a hill in the middle of nowhere. Just admire that you have a clean bed, running water and some electricity if it is sunny. There is video projector that does the job but DO TAKE HDMI CABLE with you, other then this there is Chromecasr at the place. I would recommend visiting in April to May and from September to November probably because of the temperatures. There is a wood stove but no air conditioning so it can get quite hot during the day. You need a pocket battery because electricity can be hit or miss. During the winter there might nit be running water at all but still... Great experience!

A beautiful place that cannot be described - it has to be seen. The area is magical, igloos are very comfortable. The perfect getaway!

We had the most perfect weekend at Grizzly Igloos! We’ve stayed in the depths of the Pyrenees & Australian bush.. but this is the nature experience that we adored more than any other. The igloo itself was v comfy, with a great mattress, nice shower and awesome fireplace. We had hot weather in the day and cold nights, which meant we could enjoy the *amazing* outdoors & have cozy evenings in with the log fire on. Aleksandar was great - helpful and welcoming without imposing on our stay. He let us borrow the kayak with a ‘trash not cash’ pay initiative - pay by collecting trash instead of giving money. We really love this concept and had fun giving a little something back to the area! Final mention goes to the amazing dogs. Despite common misconceptions of strays, the ones that hang out at grizzly are the most gentle and beautiful souls - the black 1 decided to join us on a 2hr hike and was perfect company. Open your heart to them and you will make friends to remember for a long time

Just wanted to say thank you for the stay, it was a unique, one of a kind experience and we really enjoyed every moment. For anyone looking to book this place you definitely should, it is a once in a lifetime experience with breathtaking views.
