Urban Tranquilatree

Access to the tree house can be conducted by phone so you don't meet anyone. All contact surfaces are cleaned using dettol wipes and linen is washed at 60 deg. This is a real tree house, fully insulated, 6m off the ground. It faces south with views of the city. It is situated in our garden but screened by trees giving privacy. It consists of a bedroom with a deck at the top level and a bathroom on the level below. Cork city centre is a 5 min. walk. Access to the city is via a STEEP HILL.

The Swallow's Nest

Please don't come here - If you're looking for big city lights, mod cons & public transport. Please do come here - If you're interested in growing your own food, keeping bees, hiking, food preservation, nature, chickens & geese, bats, birdsong & silence (hens/geese/wildlife permitting!). The Swallow's Nest is a tiny barn which sits between Slievenamon & the Comeragh mountains, in the glorious valley known as The Honeylands but is only a ten minute drive from Clonmel, Tipperary's County town.

Nesbitt is a land boat set in its own private garden, overlooked by 3 donkeys. She has electricity, full cooking, toilet and showering facilities on board, albeit all quite compact! Ideally suited for a couple or small family. A peaceful, quite, quirky getaway surrounded by animals, trees & farmland just 10 mins drive from Kinsale and 5 mins from some fantastic beaches. Built in the late 1400s, Grantstown Castle has been lovingly restored and mixes medieval architecture with modern comforts. The Castle Is Rented In Its Entirety And Caters For Up To Seven Guests.
