The Beara Bus....with Awesome Views

The Beara Bus is a unique living space situated on the coastline with stunning views across the Atlantic to the Sheeps Head and Mizen Head Peninsulas and Bere Island. The entrance to the harbour of Castletownbere ( Irelands second largest fishing port) can be seen with the daily coming and goings of the fishing fleet. In the waters below the Bus basking shark, minke whale and dolphins are frequent visitors. The sun rising up over Sheeps Head Peninsula can make for an unforgettable breakfast !

The Breakwater, Ballycotton

The Breakwater is a new luxury property built in 2024 and located next door to its sister Airbnb, The Lighthouse Lodge. Located across the street from The Salty Dog Bar/Restaurant and a short walk to village bars and Sea Church music venue. Local attractions include the Ballycotton cliff walk, lighthouse tour and Ballymaloe Cookery School.

Katie’s Fastnet Cabin The stunning seascape changes every day in front of the nautical themed Fastnet Cabin. Relax and enjoy the ebb and flow of the tide overlooking Croagh Bay located just inside the iconic Fastnet Lighthouse. Situated a 10 minute (10km) drive from Schull the location is ideal to immerse yourself in all the sea and the Wild Atlantic Way has to offer (swimming, kayaking, fishing, sailing) and enjoy the West Cork walking trails, including Barleycove Beach and Mizen Head.

We are situated on the Beara Peninsula, just up the road from Helen's Bar in Kilmackilogue. Our Shepherds Hut called The Bothy, overlooks the sea, and is three minutes walk to the beach. Enjoy nature at its best with views of Kenmare Bay and its surrounding mountains. It is a hikers paradise, lying just off 'The Beara Way' . Cyclists will also be in their element with The Healy Pass a few kilometres away. Kenmare is half an hour away with wonderful shops and restaurants.

Located within walking distance to Ballyheigue village and its blue flag beach. The house has a fully enclosed private garden (safe for children and furry friends).
