My family had a wonderful stay at The Barn. Alison and Ross are lovely hosts and very helpful with clear instructions. The property is great and comfortable for about 7-8 people with all bedrooms on level 1 (upstairs) and 2 bathrooms downstairs. Great size indoor living and outdoor bbq area, including a fire pit for cool evenings, and the paddocks surrounding the property have some friendly rams. You also get to see heaps of kangaroos in the morning and around sunset. Clean and comfortable property and I would highly recommend staying here when visiting Healesville. Only thing missing were some extra bathroom amenities (toilettries) proportionate to 7-8 people staying but I’m sure if you request Alison and Ross they will ensure to make it available for your stay! The house was thoughtfully decorated and stocked with everything we needed for our one-week stay! Lovely touches like bread, chocolates, etc. Elizabeth was very responsive and accomodating. Spacious house inside and out. Fireplace and electric blankets helped keep us warm at night. Farm views (and occasionally, smells 😅) were very peaceful.

Great semi isolated location with small interesting town with all requirements within 4 kms. The place is beautifully peaceful and restful. Ideal for us.

Very comfortable home amongst beautiful trees and nature. The home had just about everything you'd need to occupy a young (or young at heart!) family, though no wi-fi (probably a blessing!). Luci had thought of everything in terms of stocking the utility areas and kitchen which made for a hassle free stay. Thanks Luci!

We had a lovely stay at Diane’s place. The peaceful surroundings made it a perfect escape, and the place had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our son especially loved spending time with the horse and chickens—it was a real highlight for him. Diane and her family were really friendly and helpful. A truly enjoyable experience!

The cottage was great, with scenic surrounds and very easy access to the mountain bike park for those interested. And the 2 lovely dogs were so friendly and welcoming !

Thanks for having us! We had such a wonderful time! The place is well-furnished, cozy, and equipped with everything we needed. Our toddler had an amazing time exploring the farm, interacting with the animals, picking fresh strawberries and veg, and enjoying fresh eggs for breakfast. It was such a lovely getaway and farm experience for our family including our dog. :) We would highly recommend!

Our stay in Barjarg was excellent, and was the perfect base for a few days of hiking in the surrounding areas. Will definitely be staying here again! Loved the cottage, especially the fireplace!

We had a fantastic stay at Willuna Sanctuary. The hosts were super friendly and very accommodating. We were lucky enough to hold and feed some of the animals - the kids loved it. The cabin was clean and well maintained. We found the beds very comfortable and it was the perfect size for our family of 4. If you’re looking for a very comfortable and relaxing farm stay, then look no further. We’ll definitely be returning.

We had a peaceful and relaxing stay. Star gazing in the hot tub was our highlight. Would recommended it for anyone who loves the farm and being with nature. We saw alpacas and kanagaroos in the backyard. Very high quality kitchenware when cooking up a storm. Great night sleep, the mattress and pillows were comfy! Only feedback is to have entrance lights/driveway lights to the cottages. Note, we arrived quite late in the dark. Otherwise, loved the experience!

Beautiful country stay, with a great fenced in backyard for our pup who had the best time. Close to Woodend and Kyneton for easy days out. Would love to stay again!

Such a lovely stay at this cozy farmhouse! It felt super homely and relaxing. The hosts were really easy to communicate with, and we were greeted by goats and a friendly dog when we arrived—so cute! The sunrise in the morning was stunning, and the view with sheep and kangaroos made it feel like a little countryside escape. Would definitely stay again!

A beautiful cottage, clean and tidy and beautiful views out the back. The animal visitors added extra charm and we loved how easy it was to walk to local cafes and shops. We would book again in a heartbeat!

Lovely home and perfect to disconnect from city life

The chefs shed blew us away! It’s so charming, and very thoughtfully designed. A cooking lovers dream kitchen, a romantic sunset bath, friendly cows to greet you and a cosy fireplace to sit with a wine and listen to a record. So much to love and wonder here - a real gem! Anneke was very friendly and greeted us upon arrival. Their house is just behind the Chefs Shed, but it still feels private here. Highly recommend!

We stayed here before and after our wedding. What a little slice of paradise. Sitting on the balcony, listening to the birds in the morning was a lovely reminder to slow down and soak in this beautiful place. Direct access to the winery and only a short 10 minute drive from our wedding venue. The rooms are fantastic and bathrooms are just something else! Beautiful home and beautiful host. This was a fantastic place we stayed at which was nice and private and had an amazing view. Fiona was very pleasant to deal with and was very accommodating to our needs, everything about the place was awesome and we would definitely like to stay here again in the future!

It was our second time staying at Avalon, and we loved it. Such a great way to spend a few relaxing and enjoyable days in the country, but will all the amenities of home. Outstanding stay, and the highlight was Joel taking us on a tour of the farm. Great for families too, we will be back again.

Fantastic place for a getaway. Great for families and or a couple holiday. We enjoyed the location being close to wineries and Healesville. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a space that works for a family holiday or long weekend!

We had an amazing stay, with our extended family and our dog. The hosts had thought of everything you need to have a relaxing stay at the property. We will definitely come again but next time will stay more than 3 nights.
