What an amazing place! Ioannis has thought about everything you could ever need and it is there!! Every thing was immaculate, beautiful white linen, beach towels, the best kitchen ever. Ioannis very thoughtfully had provided large bottles of water and fresh fruit in the fridge which I thought was wonderful. We had a problem on arrival which was sorted so quickly, thank you Ioannis! We have been to many Airb&bs and this was the best. So near the sea and fantastic restaurants, i miss the wonderful food! Thank you so much for our wonderful stay

We hebben heerlijk gevonden van ons verblijf. Alles voldeed aan de beschrijving, en alles was kraaknet. De jacuzzi is in de lente zeker ook een meerwaarde om de frisse avonden door te komen. Het verblijf ligt dichtbij Matala, leuke dorpen en mooie stranden. Zeker de moeite!

This is such a cozy and comfy place. Beautifully decorated and sparkling clean - you almost don't want to disturb the perfection! The beds, the massive couch in the living room are all very comfortable so we woke up every morning well rested. We found everything we needed in the kitchen and in the bathroom (the latter was stocked with soaps, shampoos and creams). There is a small outdoor space , which we made use of for afternoon drinks and breakfast. Thr place is not right next to the old city, but the parking prices are very reasonable so we just drove in and parked at a big municipal parking. The place is also great as your base for day trips around the island. Our hosts were amazing, upon arrival we found fruit, wine, bread and Michalis popped in with a plate of freshly picked strawberries. Evelina gave us lots of tips on what to do and see - all great ideas. We had a great time and highly recommend the Violin House.

La maison de Manolis est superbe, tout correspond parfaitement aux photos. C’est un endroit paisible et dans lequel on veut rester longtemps. Manolis est également un hôte très réactif et très bien organisé. Je recommande très fortement !!

This was one of the best houses I stayed in - really modern and great internal design. The two bathrooms are a rarity in Greece and we were really happy that we had them. We enjoyed the very comfortable beds and the pillows. A fully equipped kitchen was also a nice element to the perfect stay. Need to know that the village is on a hill and there is a narrow cobbled street (no direct access by car), but there is a small parking about 150m away from the house.

Nikos ja hänen tyttärensä Eleni olivat hyvin avuliaita, jos heräsi jokin kysymys tai tarve. Läheistä kalaravintolaa pitää kalastajan perhe, nautimme kovasti hyvästä, tuoreesta kalaruoasta.

You could not ask for a more perfect location or better view. The hosts were very responsive and helpful with recommendations for sites, car rental, restaurant recommendations, etc. The property is very spacious and the hosts had very nicely stocked some treats and coffee station in the kitchen. There are lots of stairs if mobility is an issue. Only inconvenience was that there was only one key, so unless your group stays together the whole time, it does take some coordination.

Alkis is a super friendly host, and always responds so quickly. Once I didn’t know how to use the washing machine, he came in person just in five minutes! Also he gave me so many recommendations for local cuisine and tourist attractions. The apartment is well maintained and is in a rather perfect location, 10-15 minutes’ walk to the heart of the Old Town, and 1 minute’s walk just to the beachside. The parking place is easier to find compared to the old town, so it’s more friendly to self-drivers. Overall, highly recommended.

Ο οικοδεσπότης ήταν πολύ ευγενικός και εξυπηρετικός .. μπορούσες να επικοινωνήσεις μαζί του εύκολα και απαντούσε σε οποιαδήποτε αίτημα /ερωτήσεις /διευκρινίσεις που είχαμε . Ευχαριστούμε πολυ.

Μείναμε πολύ ευχαριστημένοι από την διαμονή ! Πάντα απαντούσαν με αμεσότητα σε ό,τι ερώτημα υπήρχε , ήταν πεντακάθαρο και άνετο όπως στις φωτογραφίες !!

Die Unterkunft war toll, genau wie auf den Bildern. Der Ausblick und die ganze Garten- und Pool Anlage waren traumhaft. In der Gegend gab es zwei wunderschöne Strände, einen ruhigeren und einen mit mehreren Einkaufsläden und Restaurants. George war sehr hilfsbereit, wir haben von ihm sehr viele hilfreiche Tipps zu Unternehmungen, Restaurants, Einkaufsläden usw. bekommen. Auch bei Problemen (krankheitsbedingt) stand er uns hilfsbereit zur Seite.

Bei Dave and Sue ist es wie im Paradies. Es hat an nichts gefehlt und ist sehr zu empfehlen für Paare oder Familien mit kleinen Kindern. Dave & Sue waren sehr freundlich und wir haben uns gleich wie zu Hause gefühlt. Dave und Sue freuen sich über weltoffene Menschen und haben diese gerne bei sich zu Gast. Sie kamen öfter vorbei und fragten ob alles okay ist und brachten auch selbst gemachtes Gebäck vorbei.

Dimitris place was such a great find! It was easily walkable to Old Town and the beach. Not too far from the airport by taxi and lots to do everyday! Super great communication and friendliness also! I highly recommend!

Ich hatte einen wunderbaren 12-tägigen Aufenthalt in der Wohnung. Die Lage ist toll - nur ein paar Meter vom Strand entfernt und trotzdem 15 Minuten bis zur Altstadt. Einchecken mit schlüsselbox und Beschreibung war super einfach. Der Gastgeber hat immer extrem schnell geantwortet. Und ich meine wirklich schnell- ich habe nie länger als ein paar Minuten auf eine Reaktion gewartet. Er hat mir mit allen Fragen und Anliegen geholfen und mir sogar einem Regenschirm ausgeliehen und eine Yogamatte für meine Zeit besorgt. Wirklich sehr hilfsbereit und immer zur stelle! Die Wohnung ist gemütlich. Das Bett ist sehr bequem (das finde ich immer wichtig!). Das Sofa ist schon etwas durchgesessen - aber es hat mich nicht gestört. Die Küche ist ganz gut ausgestattet. Es gibt einen richtigen Herd, Toaster, Wasserkocher und Mikrowelle (die ich aber nicht benutz habe). Der Balkon ist groß und man hat morgens bis zum frühen Nachmittag sonne. Auf dem 2. Balkon gibts auch noch eine Waschmaschine!

What a great spacious apartment and even better location,.. and with a panoramic sea view from the spacious balcony/terrace. What more do you need? And chose Kalamaki over Matala (just visit) if you want to relax.

We really enjoyed our stay in Rethimnon. It’s a Nice old town, many restaurants. The appartement is in a quiet area, but near the centre and allmost at the beach. If you have a car available, you can visit the countryside to do some hikes in the area. Effie gave many tips and the appartement was perfect.

This place is absolutely perfect for a stay in the city center. It has a lovely large balcony overlooking the park and is big and spacious. The place was cleaned perfectly and seemed brand new. Eleftheria communicated ahead of time and gave great information for sites and restaurants. We didn’t need anything so need to reach out but she communicated promptly and kindly. The only bummer was we were only there for one night and the fees (cleaning and Airbnb) was more than the nightly rate. But again the apartment was so clean it seemed like new. Great rooms with big tv in each bedroom and living room. Bathrooms were spacious and again impeccably clean. I would absolutely stay here again.

E' stata una piacevole esperienza, l'host è cordiale e simpatico, provvede a tutte le necessità. I locali erano stati ben puliti e ordinati, è una bella zona dove stare, c'è un accesso alla spiaggia a meno di 5 min a piedi!

Ich bin alleine nach Kreta gereist und habe eine Unterkunft gesucht, wo ich sowohl zentral und strandnah bin als auch eine Möglichkeit habe Ruhe zu finden. Die Unterkunft bietet rund um Paket. Das Appartement zeichnet sich vor allem durch die gut ausgestattete Küche und den beiden Balkonen aus, die sowohl Platz in der Sonne und zum Essen bieten. Georges als Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und steht für Fragen jeglicher Art zu Verfügung. Er hat mir hilfreiche Tipps für die Region gegeben und einen Kontakt für Carsharing vermittelt. Ein Auto sollte man hier auf jeden Fall mieten, da die Insel sehr weitläufig ist und man mit dem Bus nur einen Teil erkunden kann. Nach Heraklion ist die Verbindung sehr gut. Insgesamt hatte ich eine wunderschöne Woche und einen tollen Aufenthalt in Costal Key! Einziges Manko, das der Jahreszeit geschuldet ist: die Strandbars und Tavernen sind zu dieser Zeit noch nicht geöffnet und ich hatte die ersten Tage eine Baustelle vor der Tür.
