Berry Cottage is a 18th century grade 2 listed cottage just a 10 minute walk from the centre of the historic city of Ripon, where you can visit Ripon Cathedral, enjoy a canal cruise and sample the delights of our independent eateries. Ripon is also within walking distance of Studley Royal deer park and Fountains Abbey or only a 5 minute drive if you prefer. This is an ideal place to stay to explore the Yorkshire Dales. The famous spa town of Harrogate is also only 25 minutes’ drive away

Chequer Barn Apartment

An oak framed loft apartment is above a large garage which is accessed by stairs with a balcony for tree level seating. The space is not attached to our house and has separate access. The pitched roof gives the apartment a feeling of space and light, with underfloor heating. The outside space is ideal if you want some fresh air. We are in a rural location with no amenities, although the nearest village is only two miles away. We would welcome all visitors, but we don’t accept children.

Thompson's cottage is located in the garden of our family home, with parking in front of the village hall, (next door) The cottage is a cosy space with a modern feel, comprising of one main living area with a king size bed, seating for 2, a small but well equipped kitchen and a pull out table, a modern stylish bathroom with large shower. Sawley is quiet village, within the Nidderdale AONB, and is a great central location for exploring the area, on bike, foot or by car.
