When you aren't relaxing at the house, catch a show at Stuart's Opera House right across the street, go for a hike in nearby Hocking Hills, and walk to restaurants, coffee shops, art, local library, and the local bar in under two minutes. This property is owned and operated by Stuart's Opera House, a non-profit arts organization. By staying here you are supporting the local arts community in Southeast Ohio. Everyone is welcome.

Country Getaway

Short drive on the highway from Athens, OH (15 minutes) and Parkersburg, WV(35 minutes). Detached studio apartment located on 25 acres with access to almost 300 acres for walking and fishing(catch and release). Studio apartment has a full kitchen and bathroom, two bed nooks, a chair, and table with four barstools. The space is heated using radiant floor during cool weather and during warm weather cooled by a window unit AC. Owners live about 30ft from rental on the property.

With easy access to the new route 33, our cabin is a couples getaway. We offer a covered hot tub so you can relax in it rain or shine. There is a full size porch on the front and back for you to enjoy your complimentary coffee/tea/ cocoa, while listening to the birds or watching the wild life. We are conveniently located between historical Nelsonville and the Hocking Hills. Along with Wayne National Forrest just down the road, and the Hocking River for canoeing or kayaking.

Located on a working farm in the country, yet a couple miles from Ohio University, you havel 40 acres for nature walks, easy access to town and unique wineries. The Tired Beagle has ample parking and located next to road for quick access.
