Jeanette is a wonderful host. She met us on our arrival and gave us a tour of our rental ensuring that she answered any questions. She is very responsive and quick to answer any follow up. questions or concerns. The space is beautifully decorated and comfortable. The location is great, across the street from Long Island Sound and bordering a large nature preserve. All this and easy access to shops, groceries, and restaurants. We highly recommend this rental.

We very much enjoyed our stay!! The entrance doors are so unique and special, and the apartment was perfect! We traveled with 2 adults and 2 teenagers. We were greeted with very clear instructions to the property and parking. We arrived very late at night, and had no issues with getting into the apartment. The teenagers were thrilled to find treats left for us. We especially love the special touch of the postcards of the property! There was plenty of room for all of us to stay comfortably. We highly recommend this apartment.

What a great place in a perfect Location. Walk out your door to some great shops and wonderful restaurants. Couldn’t have asked for anything more in the place or the area !!! Will be staying there again !!

Margie’s place is an amazing hidden gem. The inside is very clean and comfortable. The outside is an experience of its own. The lake will drop your blood pressure immediately. Gorgeous surroundings. The dogs are friendly and lovable. We will be back! 👍🏼

We were in town for a figure skating competition. The layout was perfect for enough privacy traveling with a teammate and the house was super clean and cozy. House was super quaint and beautifully restored!!! We loved the picturesque area, proximity to shopping malls and great restaurants AND local skating rinks. One of our best stays ever, thanks to the attentive host — we will absolutely book again.

Es ist ein grosszügiges Haus, ebenso die angeschlossene Ferienwohnung im New England-Stil, sehr geschmackvoll gemacht. Alle Geräte, alle Einrichtungen funktionieren, besser geht nicht. Bad und Küche blitzsauber wie auch alles andere.

Our stay was extremely quiet until the upstairs neighbors returned. We don't have kids or pets so we're very used to quiet. Getting used to hearing upstairs neighbors took getting used to for me. The place was chock full of supplies, coffee, Scrabble and welcoming decor. The bed was outstandingly comfortable. The bathroom was modern and creative! The outdoor patio, activities and view of the creek were impressive. This is definitely on our "to return to" list.

Perfect house for a family/couple visit to the beach. It was great for my kids and I. We loved the space that the house offered and how close it was to the beach. Everyone was very pleasant that we spoke to. The house was clean, safe and felt like a home away from home.

Great location with amazing views. I can only imagine how lovely it would be in summer for a little getaway. .

We loved our stay! The private beach was perfect for our kiddos - far enough away from the water that they could play independently in the sand while we sat on the beautiful deck. The kitchen had all the items we needed (we even took a virtual cooking class while there). Dmitry was super responsive and helpful. The master bedroom was a beautiful place to watch the sunrise/sunset.

We try and rent this place every time we come to the area. It is immaculate, well appointed and the hosts are very responsive. The property is also beautiful - with a swing set, giant yard and fire pit and it’s a great set-up for families with dogs and kids. I should mention for non kid and dog people that the level of cleanliness is incredible and the place is beautiful so don’t shy away if you don’t have kids or pets!!

This house is a gem! I came to stay a week in off season with my dog, Rollo. The location is breathtaking, right on the Long Island Sound. We had a great time exploring the beach, looking for all the biodiversity in the birds and sea creatures, watching the boats, and this place is relatively close to an airport so watching the planes land and take off was awsome as well. We came for privacy, and I expected the beach to be a little more private than it was due to my dog's reactivity. But the neighbors did not seem to have issues with us, and once you are close to the water, especially in low tide, the beach is pretty open for all the locals. Walking around, the locals all waved and said hello. Not too many restaurants close by, but the Lobster Shack down the road had good food! Would stay again! The deck alone was worth it!

We loved this vacation, Peconic is the perfect place to spend 2 peaceful weeks by the Sound. The cabins are comfortable and the kitchen has great cookware and sharp knives. There are ticks here, check yourself regularly.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again ! Close to the many wineries and cute towns, and peaceful and comfortable to come back and relax at. We enjoyed the fire pit , the view from the dock of the changing tree colors and the flow of the kitchen. ❤️

Very clean, beautiful speaker and lots of space. Great place and right by beach

Rented this for six weeks while working in the area, was perfect. I enjoyed it very much. Lots of space everything you could possibly need even down to the toothpaste and brushes, you could seriously just show up completely unprepared and you would have an excellent stay. If I am back in the area for long term again this will be my first search.
