Fully equipped kitchen and a large common space. 4 smart TVs fast Wi-Fi Due to severe allergies, we can NOT accommodate any animals including service animals. Close to market and pubs. Rock run and Prince Gallitzen state park are a few miles away. Close to Saint Francis, Mount Aloysius, Penn State and IUP and UPJ Great gathering spot for family fun and relaxation, reunions, weddings, or just a little get away. Country Cottage

Country side private house nestled in the beautiful Laurel Mountains of Pennsylvania. Minutes from Ebensburg . Sit out on the back or front porch for morning coffee, watch the local turkey or deer pass through. Minutes away from one of the inaugural Rails to Trails in the east, including The Ghost Town Trail. You can bike, or walk along the beautiful river. Fifteen minute drive to Yellow Creek State Park. 25 minute drive to IUP, Saint Francis University and Mount Aloysious College.

Peaceful retreat in the woods | 3br | King bed

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful wooded retreat! This spacious 2-story 3-bedroom house is on a quiet lane with plenty of space from our neighbors. If you love seeing wildlife, deer and turkeys are a regular sight as well as the occasional fox and black bear. If you have pets, there is plenty of space for them to run around! Well-stocked kitchen! Pets and larger groups are welcome! There is a $10/guest/day charge after the first 2 guests and the pet fee is $25 (flat rate).

Area colleges include, Saint Francis Univ, Mount Aloysius College, Univ of Pittsburgh Johnstown, Indiana Univ of Pa, Penn State Univ, and Penn State Altoona.

For the avid bikers and hikers, the Ghost Town Trail is right down the road. Hunters welcome! We are adjacent to 8,000+ acres of State Game Lands. Also, we are within~ 30 miles from Indiana, Johnstown, & Altoona. Come enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery!

We have extensively remodeled this special home and brought it forward from the 1960s while maintaining its character, including the original wrought iron railing and open vaulted living room. We've also incorporated some elements of Altoona's history into the home. It's the perfect cozy and welcoming space to rest and relax whether traveling for work, visiting family, or exploring the beautiful surrounding area.
