Fabulous hut in a glorious location. It has everything we needed and was beautifully clean. The host was extremely helpful and answered so quickly any questions. I would highly recommend a stay here.

We had the most idyllic stay at the Shepherds hut. Lots of lovely touches like fresh flowers and homemade cookies. Good sized super comfy bed. Generous garden with hammocks and lots of seating and fabulous wood fired hot tub. BBQ and fire pit completed the ultimate outdoor private space. Very peaceful and green, lots of birdsong and visiting robins. Great value for such a wonderful experience. We would definitely return here and recommend.

I couldn't recommend this place highly enough. Came down for two nights and it was so peaceful and charming that we stayed for three. Juliet was really helpful throughout, the well stocked kitchen was a pleasant suprise and made the stay a dream, and waking up in that beautiful secluded little space with the birds singing was such a welcome break from out London home. The whole space felt very private and you can really relax there. It's not the easiest place to find, but Juliet's instructions were very helpful. We will definitely stay again if we're around the area Thanks Juliet!

Beautiful bespoke shepards hut. Very comfortable with everything you might need. Stunning location within easy reach of Beautiful seaside towns. Lovely personal touches like tea coffee, organic milk and a freshly made cake. Thank you very much

The most stunning stay at Ross and Becky’s property, the views and location is second to none and the facilities and comfort of the hut is beyond our expectations. We stayed as a group of four adult women and the space was more than adequate. I can’t wait to return.

This is one of the most beautiful, idylic places I have stayed in. The incredible views, the privacy, and the beautiful cabin itself were all perfect. Lucy is such a lovely host, and you can tell the care and thought involved in making the stay special, from the little treats and prosecco on arrival, to the welcome message and the fantastic communication. Everything was honestly amazing, I'd recommend Rosies Retreat to anyone and I'll absolutely be back!

We booked a couple of days for my mums birthday. Tracys communication was brilliant throughout and we arrived to a birthday banner and balloons in the hut. This place is so lovely we will def be returning, the goats are so friendly and were a real highlight, not to mention the ducks running past throughout the day. This is a peaceful getaway, in beautiful surroundings. I cannot fault Tracy at all she is a really lovely lady and on hand should you need anything. The hut was very comfortable and warm with beautiful views to wake up to, including goats at my window! Which I loved!! Overall a wonderful relaxing couple of days and we will def be returning. Wow!! What a beautiful little hut. We absolutely loved staying here. The hut is located in a quiet, peaceful section with large fencing for added privacy. The outside area is decorated with little fairy lights all around, making the whole space feel magical and cosy. I loved the variety in seating, a picnic bench to enjoy dinner and a cosier place to sit with blankets and cushions. The inside of the hut was gorgeous. It had a rustic charm which added to the level of coziness. The hut is equipped with everything you need and cute added extras. We appreciated the complimentary sourdough, bread and jam which we enjoyed in the gorgeous sunshine! We stayed here for one night but honestly wish we had booked two!! We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you so much Nat and Mark! 🌟

WOW- I can’t recommend this listing any more highly. Lou went above and beyond to make our stay special. The drive through her garden/farm to get to the accommodation felt magical, before witnessing the stunning Shepard’s hut. If you’re looking for a cute countryside retreat, this is the one for you. It was so peaceful having a few drinks in the fairly light lit hot tub, before crashing on the large king sized bed. 15 minute drive to cheddar gorge, and only 5 minutes to local pub (or 20 min walk). Lou was super responsive the whole trip and did whatever she could to make our stay feel special. We will definitely be returning next year (potentially with friends as she has another studio with space for 2 more people on a separate listing). Thanks so much :)

Jenny was a great host! The Cabin was spotless on arrival! Very cosy and well equipped... As previous guests had noted the bed is super comfy!! The outside area for dogs is brilliant. Definitely recommend the Culm Valley Inn! Fantastic atmosphere - delicious home cooked food - 15 min walk. Strand Stores serve an incredible breakfast and sell high quality local produce! We also enjoyed a nice day out at Sidmouth beach..

We had a great stay. Claire is a great host and went above and beyond to ensure we had the best stay. The accommodation and hot tub were great, and the surrounding area is full of walks and great views. We particularly loved hearing about the farm and getting to meet the animals. A really unique getaway and would recommend to anyone.

100% recommend staying here. The pictures are exactly what it’s like in person and more! The attention to detail was amazing, everything you need for your stay is there. They even had hot chocolate and marshmallows for a cosy night around the fire-pit. Communication with the host was very formative, clear and in timely manner. We would definitely return as it is the perfect relaxing getaway but also walks/restaurants close. Thankyou so much!

The hut was brilliant, we watched the sunset from the hot tub each night which was beautiful and so quiet. The place has everything you need and it’s easily walkable to Boscastle centre although it does feel a lot harder on the way back up the hill :) the local pubs were great and we loved getting out walking on the coast path. We had a beautiful bank holiday weekend stay at the shepherds hut. It is exactly as described and in a great location. We went on some really lovely walks with the dog. Danielle was a great host, easy to contact and quick to respond. She also provided lots of different walks to go on and places to go, however after our walk we just enjoyed chilling out at the hut for the rest of the day as it was so nice and private and surrounded by a lovely woodland which our dog loved and the hot tub was a great addition that us humans loved. We would definitely stay again and hopefully will very soon.

Had an amazing few days as Diddylake, it was so charming and peaceful, would highly recommend for anyone hoping to have a peaceful getaway and disconnect from the outside world.

We stayed here with our dog for a weekend getaway, and honestly, the photos don’t do the place justice. It’s absolutely amazing - so peaceful and relaxing. Our dog loved it too! There are plenty of lovely walks nearby if you want to stay active, but it’s also perfect for just unwinding and enjoying a BBQ. Being away from the city made it feel like the perfect escape. I personally usually like to try new places each time, BUT I’d definitely love to come back here. Thank You!

We booked this hut at short notice and Chris was extremely quick to reply and allowed us both to stay despite being advertised as a one guest booking. We received a warm welcome from Chris and lots of information about the hut. The location was perfect, close to everything, walks and the town. Plenty of places to choose from to eat and drink. The hut was basic ( not a surprise as the description told us that) and was very clean and tidy. Lovely garden to sit in and enjoy the evening sunshine. A lovely one night stay. Thank you.

we had such a lovely stay at Mulberry hut. it had everything we needed for a relaxing short break with good access to Cornwall for exploring. we visited local pubs and attractions that Amy recommended in her very helpful welcome pack and Amy went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and easy. thank you

We had the most wonderful time at Danette’s shepherds hut. The views, wildlife and peace were incredible and the location was great for trips out with the dogs. We loved the attention to details in the hut, it made the experience very homely. Danette’s communication with us was great, she kept us up to date from start to finish. I am already looking forward to returning on our next trip!

A lovely time was had over the bank holiday weekend at The Nest. The hut was exactly as described and included everything that we needed as well as being comfortable and cosy. Both pubs within the area were friendly and welcoming and we enjoyed a lovely local walk along the old railway line. We had a delicious roast lunch at the Spyway Inn which is just a short 10 minute drive from the hut with a lovely pub garden overlooking the Dorset countryside. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt very welcomed by our hosts. The hot tub was a particular highlight and the perfect way to relax and unwind at the end of the day. Would definitely recommend staying here and hope to return in the future!

Thank you for letting us stay in your delightful shepherd's hut. It was a really special place and private. It was a great setting for the dogs which made it extra relaxing for us.

Myself and wife stayed here for a couple of nights, and we enjoyed the whole experience from start to finish. journey to the shepherd's hut was fun, the roads were narrow, but it's what to expect on the moors , but there were plenty of passing areas if there was a stand off. the hut was very clean and tidy, ond outside was perfect for our crazy spaniel his nose and tail was in over load. The walks were lovely, either on the moors, or in the woods close by. and the village close by Chagford was a lovely village where there is lots of shops to browse , and plenty of options eat out, I discovered a vending machine selling cows juice (milk) loved it . It is all well documented in the welcome pack when you arrive at the shepherd's hut. The only thing I will say is if you are travelling in a very large camper van/ large suv like Land-rover discovey or similar in size. you will have heightened problems driving around as there is a narrow bridge which is only 7 feet wide, so plan well
