Close proximity to I-95, Messalonskee and prestigious Belgrade Lakes you will find home to a wide variety of wildlife and nature. Boating, fishing and ATV riding close by! The campus includes a loft with a view, walking trail, free/overflow parking. A luxury, campy feel makes this a perfect getaway for you and your family. Please note some amenities are seasonal. The Nest at Camp Skoglund

Sitting 125 feet from the east shore of Echo Lake is the Nest at Camp Skoglund. A cozy cottage for two with all of the amenities you will need. Your deck provides a wooded view of the lake and we offer a fully equipped waterfront for your relaxation and fun on the water. A fire pit is also available. If you need lodging for more than 2, please inquire about our other cabin, Pop's (also on AirBnb). We are open seasonally starting in early June until Columbus Day or later depending on the weather.

Our animals include sheep, chickens & rabbits. You will have full access to all areas of the farm! Spend time fishing or relaxing on the river. Or literally just sitting on the porch unwinding and taking it all in. 4 private bedrooms have stunning views surrounded by trees or fields. And if the Chef is available..EAT!!!

SNOW SWEET, A Yurt for All Seasons

Snow Sweet at The Appleton Retreat is very private, check out the Trail Map. This contemporary yurt faces the Field of Dreams and has a nice view of Appleton Ridge. It features a private therapeutic hot tub on the deck, a fire pit, and fast wifi. The Appleton Retreat encompasses 120 acres hosting six unique retreats. To the south is the Pettengill Stream, a resource protected area. To the north is the Nature Conservancy's 1300 acre reserve.

Great for meandering and wandering about, walking the labyrinth, resting in the shade garden and orchid. Sleeps five. Great for time with family and friends, as well as solitude. We gladly accept persons 21 and older. We welcome children and infants. 4 miles north of Farmington towards Sugarloaf.
