Magical Modern Cottage with Garden

Find true escape surrounded by nature at this lovely modern cottage. Once featured in Dwell magazine, this home charms with its clever use of space, custom furniture and finishes, unique and tasteful decor, and outdoor patio and garden. Entire private cottage and shared side and backyard with patio seating. We are happy to suggest hikes, restaurants and other activities. We've compiled an extensive list of our favorite spots, both right in the neighborhood and also farther afield. The property is located in Rockridge, and also quite close to Temescal. Both have lots of great shopping, restaurants, coffee shops, and amenities. We are very pleasant 10-15 minute walk from the Rockridge BART station. BART provides easy access to SF (about 20 min) and other parts of the Bay Area. Parking on our street is free and usually plentiful. Street sweeping is on the second and fourth Monday/Tuesday of each month (check signs to be sure). The bedroom of the cottage is located up a short flight of stairs, so it isn't ideal for anyone with compromised mobility. The bathroom shower is fully functional but some particularly large/tall people may find it a little tight.

Peaceful, upscale gated, property. 1 mile to large regional parks for hiking, mountain biking & horse stables. Nature at its best! Pool heated to 82F 4/1-10-31. 16 miles to San Francisco, 5-10 minutes to many restaurants. Jacuzzi & barrel sauna, grill. Large patio, pool /new deck (6500 sq foot outdoor oasis shared with main house small family of 4). Own spot in driveway.

Modern 2 bedroom with stunning bay views

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. The Oakland Hills are filled with amazing hiking, this location is great for day trips to Napa (35 miles), San Francisco (11 miles) or Carmel (120 m). Centrally located for work or play. This open concept 2 bedroom is a peaceful break away. Given the open concept design - there is not a lot of privacy between bedrooms, just a big bookcase room divider b/w the rooms. There are a few sitting area's outside and a green roof too! And EV charging.

Rockridge Garden Cottage

The cottage is newly remodeled as of March 2022 and now has its own kitchen and bathroom. It is a separate unit in my backyard with vaulted ceilings which gives a spacious feel and french doors that open onto the lush garden. Queen size high end natural organic fiber bed (Earthsake.com), with down comforter + 4 pillows. Dining table and stools. LCD TV, clothes valet, work desk and great internet. Its very quiet and my guests seem to love having a private retreat type space to themselves.

Located in Oakland's scenic lower hills, the Airbnb is the downstairs of our house. It includes 1 spacious bedroom w/desk, a smaller bedroom with a double bed, & tv, a full bathroom, kitchen, & a small dining area. The private entrance from the back patio looks out over a spacious yard. Our neighborhood has tall trees, expansive green space, and is quiet, friendly & safe. A few minutes from Park Blvd.'s and Montclair's many cafes, it's even closer to the Dimond district's eateries & markets.

Sunny furnished 2nd floor apartment in the heart of the trendy Temescal neighborhood. Quiet back of the house location w/ private entrance. Our jewel-box studio has been designed with upmost attention to details to serve as a petite retreat after a long day of sightseeing or work in the Bay Area. It's conveniently located only a few blocks away from Lake Merritt and with very easy access to SF. It has been equipped with a spacious shower with potent water pressure and a comfortable bed with luxury bedding and towels. It is located in a quite street were you'll be able to rest and restore your energy for the next day.

Our charming cottage is a relaxing retreat in the city! Our sweet cabin is small and cozy set in an expansive garden oasis. We offer a unique experience for those interested in a beautiful and tranquil escape in the heart of the city. The cottage is at the back of our large garden with views of our beautiful urban farm with a pond, chickens and goats! Families with up to 2 children are best suited for the loft because of the low ceiling. No more than 2 adults please.

Hike-in Bay Views Cabin w HotTub

Hike up to a well designed, small-but-mighty modern cabin with fast WiFi, your own hot tub and a panoramic view spanning across the bay from the Golden Gate to the San Mateo bridge. 108 stairs lead up to the Aerie, so if you don’t want to get your steps in, this is probably not the space for you! 15 min from OAK and city life, but a world away. Sunsets are glorious here. The Aerie is a special spot just for 1 or 2, so leave the posse behind. Registered guests only.
