Our second stay…we love the spacious interior, the private secluded lot, the old buildings dotting the front yard that may have seen better days, but still add charm and historic appeal. Our favorite thing though, is the front porch that spans the entire front of the house. Coffee in the morning, the radio and cocktails in the evening while watching the sun dip behind the mountain…it’s perfect. And, in between, there are several state parks nearby with nice hiking trails, or the city of Portsmouth for antiques, or viewing the murals along the river. We love this rental, and can’t wait to return.

The breakfast in the morning was amazing, homemade food. The set up the breakfast table every morning and were so quick and quiet you didn't even know they were there. The farm is very relaxing and beautiful surroundings. We thoroughly enjoyed being unplugged for the weekend.

Can’t say enough about how much I loved this place. Getting to sit on the balcony and enjoy the view was probably my favorite part since I’m a sucker for peace and quiet. Taking a dip on the hot tub after long hours of driving was a life saver as well! I don’t think I could’ve done the drive I did without it. On top of the room being so super cozy (even for my little old pup who got to enjoy there being a dog bed provided), the food was amazing as well! Pizza was the best I’ve had in years and I’ll be thinking about the eggplant parmigiana for months to come. Definitely telling all my friends and family that this is the place to stay if you’re ever traveling thru the area. Can’t recommend it enough!

We just stayed at the Dream Rock Silo bungalow for the 6th time, and every visit has been wonderful. Karen and Bill always make us feel like family. They are exceptional hosts, and their attention to detail and their creativity are amazing. The bungalow is super clean, comfortable, well-crafted, and beautifully furnished and decorated. Outside is always peaceful and relaxing with beautiful views, gardens, rocks, and a stream. We love the very friendly, entertaining shepherds, Max and Joe, who spend every waking minute on our covered patio and in the yard playing ball. The sweet older husky, Folger, also spends time with us and gives us a “lean in”. We rarely leave the property and didn’t leave at all this time. We’re already planning our next visit and can't wait to get back to Dream Rock.

This time the baby goats maybe 15 to 20 were out scampering around in the pen and we had fun watching them. They are real climbers and never stop moving. Some of the animals know us now and are more approachable. The weather was Picture perfect and we sat outside in the Adirondack chairs each evening. We were able to identify over 25 birds half song birds and we were serenaded each evening. It’s a wonderful place and we enjoy it to relax and regenerate. Maybe Nancy will let us do Baby Goat Yoga too which is all the rage now. lol Highly recommend !!

This place was awesome. We went with two elementary aged kids and they had a blast. It felt like being on a field trip - the rooms are right above a dairy barn. When you step out of your room, the hallway overlooks the cows with panoramic windows. Walk down the stairs, and there are more viewing windows for the actual milking process. Kenny, the owner, was so friendly and explained everything to our very inquisitive children. We even got to feed three baby calves multiple times during our stay.

We had such a wonderful time at The Roost! It ended up raining on our weekend stay, but we had a wood stove, blankets and games. Would definitely recommend for a gathering of friends and family.

We absolutely loved staying at Shelby's barn. We would have moved in if we could have. Shelby was thoughtful, and considerate to not only designing this property but also to us and our stay. We drove across country to explore the area including Grayson Highlands State Park (VA) and could not have asked for a better basecamp for all of our adventures. But we also did not want to leave to property - sitting on the deck relaxing, drinking coffee in the morning, or wine in the evening. Shelby was also open to our two dogs joining us. And they could not have asked for a better place to stay either - grass to enjoy playing in, a deck to nap on - it was so enjoyable for all of us. We are thankful to have met Shelby during our stay. She is such a wonderful person and host. And we recommend visiting her store in town - also a lovely space. A great place to either pick things up or sit down and spend time. I can't say enough good things about Shelby or her property. We will definitely be back.

Katie and Michael’s place was amazing my wife and I stayed here doing the bourbon trail . Matched the description and the cabin was beautiful and created a space to just relax and unwind . Would highly recommend!

Our stay was fantastic. The barndo offered so much room for our group, and was even better than the pictures indicated. Our host opened up the downstairs bar area for us while we were out fishing, & we had a blast. The weather didn't cooperate with us, but we were able to really enjoy ourselves while at the ranch. We usually have a difficult time finding a place with enough parking for all our trucks & trailers, but not here. More than enough room to accommodate us all. Anytime we come to visit Laurel Lake we'll be hoping Coyote Moon Ranch is available.

My wife and I loved it. Barbara was extremely proactive in communication and very courteous. The area is beautiful and peaceful, and the animals were very friendly. It added to the excellent experience. The room was extremely clean and well designed. My wife has already recommended it to her parents!

Y’all, stay here! This was a lovely air BnB with friendly, helpful hosts! The quirky silo design was so fun, and the interior filled with thoughtful touches. The bed was comfy, and it was fun to have a coffee and breakfast snack station in the room. Beautiful, peaceful property. Chairs on the porch for sitting outside to wind down for the evening or start the day. Please note that the shower is super tiny, but the light switches in the bathroom are amazing!

The stay was great, we had 8 folks staying in the cabin with plenty of space. We have 3 small kids (under 3) and the space was not very kid friendly but we made it work. We loved how close it was to town and things to do like the zoo!

The place is beautiful. I would definitely rent this cabin again.

The hosts were very responsive and friendly. The weeks leading up to our stay they sent us local recommendations, directions, asked us questions about our interests to help us build an itinerary and they answered all questions we had before it even came time to the stay. They provided a flexible check-in time with easy instructions and left us with a beautiful place to stay that was very clean. We stayed during a very rainy weekend and between the hot tub, games, firepit, tv, and kitchen amenities provided we didn’t feel like we needed to leave. They truly thought of everything when designing this house and provided so many unique characteristics. Me and my now Husband felt so special when we walked in the door and they had a basket with a surprise for us being that it was our wedding night. We look forward to taking our children to one of their other rentals!

Barb was such a friendly host. She knew my daughter was celebrating a wedding and put in extra effort to make her feel welcomed and special.

The cabin was cute, rustic, secluded but also very well located in town. This is perfect for those using the Barn at Bay Horse or those just getting away! It is also very clean and well setup!

Beautiful setting. Great option for Hampton since there are few hotels nearby. I would recommend to anyone who needs a nice clean place to stay.

We had an amazing time I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy it more , it as just the size we needed to house our son’s wedding party (5 groomsmen plus my family,it was nice having everyone together it was a wonderful stay

Second year staying in this beautiful home. Perfect space for my large group to spread out comfortably. Tried local pizza place phase 2 and went to snow trails in Mansfield for snow tubing.

This was the perfect place for our stay. If you bring a boat down to Dale Hollow to fish, this is an awesome place to stay. Close to the ramp, garage for parking the boat, and even a TV to watch in the garage while rigging tackle. Place was spotless and had all the amenities we needed, plus more. Will definitely rent again the next time we come to Dale Hollow!
