Even though we had a gray and rainy weekend, our stay at Misty‘s cozy cottage No. 3 was fantastic. The rain provided a perfect backdrop for a lazy, relaxing cozy weekend, enjoying the fire pit between showers and soaking in the hot tub while unwinding. The cottage had everything you need for a minimalistic little getaway. Misty was great. Super polite, friendly and communicative. The perfect little getaway, we’ll be making the trip back in the future for sure. 😊

Such a lovely and peaceful home. The upstairs loft felt like sleeping in a treehouse. So many thoughtful touches throughout the entire house. The kitchen was well equipped with great appliances and supplies. Truly one of the best equipped and comfortable air bnbs we have ever stayed in. We did not use the hot tub but we really loved the whole outdoor space and the amount of windows which we opened on the warm day. Such a wonderful way to have all the comforts of home with the best part of being in nature. We even saw wild turkeys run through the property several times. We cannot wait to come back!

We had a really nice stay in this cabin. We enjoyed the hot tub in the cold evenings very much and also the gaming room is very nice. You should not get bored here ;-) The beds were good and we slept well. The front view is really nice and when the weather is nice the outdoor space must be great!

I stayed here with my 4 nephews from 6-12 years old and 8 adults for a family vacation. If you are looking for a great place to relax with family this is ideal. Also the fishing was phenomenal.

Caroline and David’s cabin is an amazing getaway. The architectural and interior design concepts found here make this cabin really stand out. They have thought of everything, inside and out, to make your stay comfortable, fun, relaxing and memorable. We loved snowshoeing around the property and discovering sculptures and animal tracks in the snow. The location is private, yet an easy drive to neighboring towns where you will find great restaurants and activities to keep you engaged for days on end. We would love to return in the Summer to be able to enjoy the outdoor fire pit. Thank you Caroline and David for allowing us to reap the benefits of all the hard work and creativity you have put into this cabin!

I thought it looked too much like a motel with cabins too close to each other, but my husband chose it. Turned out the proximity of other cabins wasn't an issue at all. The place is surrounded by trees, there's a beautiful lake a 2-minute walk away. Plenty of parking. It looked much smaller in the fotos than it felt inside. I didn't like the bunkbeds, but they turned out to be great. We had the choice to sleep together or apart. I would have liked one small comfortable chair for reading and a clipon lamp or 2 for better light for reading in bed or at the table, & we couldn't figure out the TV. But these are suggestions, not complaints. We were very happy. Staff were very friendly. Wish we'd checked out the restaurant on premises. Next time!

Perfect spot to get away and have some "me" time. Sat in front of the fireplace, read my book and got some work done. upstairs bed was extremely comfortable and happy to have a window to let some cool air in. site feels very remote but extremely close to shopping and other amamenities.

Property was as advertised, very clean. Close to shopping, restaurants and beaches. Host was very responsive.

We had such a lovely stay at Frye Island and would love to return sometime soon. We had a very comfortable stay with five adults and had everything we needed. Christina is a top tier communicator and we felt very prepared for everything the island had in store for us.

House was very clean and well stocked. Our only issue was third bedroom was a loft, which was a challenge for us to get to. Mark was very responsive to our questions and responded quickly.

Great stay with kids everyone had a lot of fun especially loved the board game variety, the pool/ air hockey table and the karaoke.

The cabin was absolutely beautiful and clean. The host thought of every little thing a person might need. Would absolutely consider renting here again.

I had a very relaxing long weekend, just what I needed for a private getaway alone. The home was cozy and comfortable, everything I needed was easy to find. I traveled alone so I would have been a bit more comfortable if there had been curtains or blinds in the main living area, however, they were in all the bedrooms. Privacy at night is just important to me. The location was very private and felt away from the world, the furniture was very comfortable which I find important on a VK anywhere. The host was extremely responsive also extremely. important.

The house was beautiful and exactly as pictured. Plenty of space for our family of five and very convenient to skiing and restaurants.

Had a 9 day stay with friends in the cabin. It was perfect for a relaxing quiet break. The walk through the woods behind the cabin was beautiful and well worth a look. The cabin was comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. We felt very at home there. Hosts were very responsive and accommodating to a few last minute requests. Would recommend.

What a really beautiful and special place!

Perfectly clean and comfortable. I over prepared myself with amenities that were all graciously offered by the hosts. The cabin has supplies for coffee, cooking, wood burning stove, etc… it was exactly what I needed for my long weekend. Will definitely be back!

We loved our stay at the "Old Town Cabin"! Sheri was a wonderful host from the beginning of the booking until the end. She responded quickly to our requests with kindness & enthusiasm. The cabin is adorable and in a perfect location to explore the many hiking trails (Clif Trail on Sebascodegan Island, Morse Mountain & Seawall Beach in Phippsburg) and the beauty of the Harpswell islands. We had lobster rolls at Pammy's food truck, spectacular fresh eggs & pork chops from a local organic farm, and a fabulous farm-to-table dinner at Harpswell Schoolhouse! Although the cabin isn't directly on the water the views are enough to fulfill your needs...including a bald eagle passing by! The value of the cabin was extremely reasonable in comparison to others. Second visit to this beautiful home. It was as perfect as last time. Everything is clean and neat. The host provides toiletries and an array of snacks! The lake is beautiful and the yard is a great place to soak in the natural beauty of the area. Can’t recommend this place enough! We felt revived after our visit! Thanks Eva!

another great stay! i stay here a few times a year to visit family, and it’s always a wonderful visit. So warm now that the weather is colder, nice big fridge, so clean and quiet.
