Hay concordancia entre precio y calidad. Don Mario, el padre de Aquiles estuvo anuente a evacuar consultas y dar orientación. El tema del agua es complejo en Altagracia y no exclusivo del hospedaje, por eso hacer conciencia de NO desperdiciar el agua. Don Mario muy sutilmente nos puso al tanto y de nuestra parte, velar por el ahorro del líquido. Las hamacas, les sacamos provecho.

Our experience was great and Grethel was a very responsive host. There is a construction on the road so it is very important to have a 4x4 vehicle.

¡Nos encantó Casa Alegre! La vista de San Juan del Sur es espectacular y la casa súper cómoda. Rudy fue muy atento desde el inicio, y Alex siempre dispuesto a ayudar, incluso con las compras para que solo nos enfocáramos en disfrutar. Pero lo que realmente hizo la diferencia fue contar con Doña Carmen y Doña Esther: nos consintieron con toda la deliciosa gastronomía nicaragüense qué les solicitamos, mantuvieron todo impecable y estuvieron siempre pendientes de nuestros gustos. Recomendamos contratarlas sin pensarlo, su calidez y atención hacen que la experiencia sea inolvidable. ¡Mil gracias Rudy, Alex, Carmen y Esther por hacer de nuestra estadía algo tan especial!

A mi familia y a mí nos encantó la casa y disfrutar de la piscina. La ubicación es cerca del pueblo pero también está lo suficientemente alejado para disfrutar en paz en familia. La casa es hermosa y cómoda ora un grupo de 10 personas. Elisha fue muy amable y estuvo pendiente en todo momento. También, Don Toño (el cuidador) te hace sentir como en casa.

Loved our time here, perfect location. The hill is steep, we knew that going in to it and is a great way to get a workout in on vacation! We also rented a motorcycle and had no issues getting up the hill and feeling safe with it parked in the lot. The staff were very friendly and kept everything very clean. The view was incredible and being able to cool off in the pool was a huge bonus. Rosi was extremely professional and quick to answer any questions I had. The information binder in the house was very helpful with dining recommendations and local activities. Thank you! We look forward to coming back.

Un’esperienza fantastica in una palafitta immersa nella natura autentica. Megan è stata molto disponibile e ci ha aiutato con la prenotazione delle Ferry e delle escursioni. Personale amichevole e gentile. Ristorante di qualità con cibo buonissimo. Speriamo di poterci ritornare in futuro, ci abbiamo lasciato il cuore!

Our adult family of four stayed in both the mango house and the jungle house. Both of these places are fabulous- beautiful jungle surroundings, areas to hang out and observe the beauty, all kinds of fruit to try, an on-site restaurant (try the jackfruit stew!), comfortable beds. The fact that this area has been mindfully reforested was what attracted us to this stay but the experience overall was amazing. We highly recommend!

An incredibly well-curated experience for enthusiasts of cloud forest nature, volcano views, and phenomenal food. The hosts and all staff were always kind, courteous, and helpful. The property is magical, extending from the road up to Finca Magdalena's rainforest reserve: you can hike up to Volcano Maderas starting right at Selvista's restaurant, Zapote. We appreciated the help with ATV rentals and loved the vegetarian option of Zapotes's set price menu to round off our last evening. Would stay there again 💯

We had an incredible stay at Lesbia and Wilber's place. We stayed for 3 weeks to explore the island and get some remote work done. We could have stayed even longer! Lesbia was always very helpful with any questions we had. She helped us out with motobike rentals and served up incredible breakfasts at the airbnb! The spot is beautiful. It exceeded our expectations. If you're looking for a remote and relaxing stay right by the lake, this is the spot for you. We will miss the friendly property dogs.

We expected and enjoyed this rustic wood cabin. The breezes when windows and doors open were refreshing. The information booklet is a must read, it really helps orient you to the surroundings. We really enjoyed the Permaculture tour with Megan, it gave us such a better understanding of this environment. Highly recommended!

We had a brilliant stay in our cabin! The garden setting is beautifully maintained, peaceful and full of wildlife. We spent an afternoon just relaxing in the garden hammocks and it was so lovely. It’s an easy walk to several great restaurants, but you still feel like you’re in a quiet, hidden spot. The cabin is very well built and comfortable, with everything you need for a longer stay. Che was a warm, welcoming host who was always very quick to respond with suggestions or help if we needed them. He is a kind and honest person. I would definitely come back and stay here again!
