What a great gem in the outskirts of Michigan! It feels secluded and private but still close to stores and convenience. The house was set up comfortably and had pretty much everything you need. The owners were very communicative and accommodating. It was easy to find with GPS. The area was peaceful and we really enjoyed using the binoculars to watch the wildlife including migrating swans with their babies! Internet was stable and fast with a lot of channels available on the tv. Jacuzzi and fire pit were great! They did a great job having fans and heaters in each of the rooms and the game room was a fun bonus. Note: the garage structure next to it is just storage and not another house :) Highly recommend for an adult getaway!

We love staying here! It is so private, peaceful, cozy, and perfect for what we look for in a little vacation. Joannah is a great, responsive host. The bottle of wine was a nice touch. She leaves tons of local recommendations for you to discover. The hot tub on the river is exactly what we needed and look forward to! We’ve been back a few times and will hopefully return.

This is our second time staying at Nina's cabin. It's so clean, comfortable, and has everything you may need for a relaxing getaway. Do not pass on Nina's cabin or you will be missing out.

From all of the little details that were well thought out to the space itself, my husband and myself, really enjoyed our weekend get away. Jodie was extremely accommodating and very genuine. Especially since we tried to change the date of our visit and there was an incident where someone booked the same date we were switching to. Jodie opened up a day she originally had blocked off to accommodate us so we could still switch our visit. 10/10 recommend and myself and my husband cannot wait to book here again.

The cottage was fitting for our two families. There was ample sleeping arrangements for everyone. We had fun with the games provided.

This AirBnb was great for a group of my friends! It's quiet and peaceful and in beautiful woods. The place was exactly as described and we left extremely happy. Thank you for a great stay!

Cozy stay with lots of amenities! Peaceful and private. Felt right at home. Kids enjoyed the pool at the club nearby which was about a 10min drive. Host was very responsive and accommodating!

Cozy, inviting cabin with a fantastic view over the river and the woods beyond, with no cabins across the river. Very clean, and fantastic communication -- I'd give them 6 stars on communication if I could. We had a minor hiccup with the coffeemaker, and within a half-hour of contacting them, the problem was more than resolved. Comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen. Outdoor firepit AND indoor fireplace, which was great when it got cold and windy our second day.

Una cabaña muy linda, limpia y ordenada. Las camas son muy cómodas y el baño es amplio, aunque el agua tiene un olor fuerte a grifo. La zona de la fogata está un poco alejada de la cabaña, en un espacio abierto, lo cual nos pareció algo inseguro por la posible presencia de animales. La ubicación es bastante aislada; el supermercado más cercano está a unos 15 minutos en coche, pero no tiene mucha variedad, especialmente si vienes de otro país y buscas productos específicos. En el porche solo hay cinco sillas, y la iluminación exterior es limitada.

We had a great stay at Wander Inn. The view of the river was absolutely beautiful! The house was clean and organized. With a few nice homey touches like a few games, throw blankets, and sound machines. Linen was comfy and extra towels were available. Which was great because our kids got super dirty playing at their great grandparents house. Robert was very responsive and proactive with great info. Wonderful visit all around! We will definitely stay again.

We had a great stay at the Little Cabin in The Woods. The location was private and even though it was hot outside the cabin stayed nice and cool set back in the pines. Michael was great and helpful from check in to check out.

The stay was great! We were simply looking for a quiet place to get away from the hustle and bustle of Chicago. This home fit the bill perfectly. Quiet, peaceful and even though there are neighbors in the distance, we never saw or heard them (those may be vacation homes). The true value for my family is the fact that the place is dog-friendly. Makes it a true spot for a family vacation. Home has a vintage charm that we actually enjoyed. Plus, it’s priced to take that into consideration. It was money well spent in my opinion.

This was the perfect weekend getaway in a nice secluded and friendly neighborhood. We would love to return someday and spend more time on the lake fishing. Everything exceeded our expectations. Marcos is a wonderful host!

The cabin was great it was secluded and very peaceful. The kayaks were great to be able to explore the river. The beds and couch were comfortable and clean. The host was very responsive which I appreciated. The only thing to note is to bring your own charcoal if using the grill, the gas grill didn’t have propane and we didn’t bring charcoal. It was still a very pleasant weekend and would definitely stay there again.

Couldn't have had a better location. My girlfriend and I were looking for a secluded location away from the hectic city. Todd's cabin was the best decision I made on my first Airbnb location. We got exactly what we were looking for. Not only does it come with lots of trails to walk, indoors is a pinball machine and old school record jukebox machine, games to play and even Netflix and chill. Thank you again for the wonderful get away from the city for my 40th birthday.

We had a great stay! It was peak fall foliage and 70 degrees. The cottage was perfect, nestled right on 3 private acres which made it the perfect child free weekend getaway. We enjoyed the sauna, the fire pit and the sounds of nature. Robin was very responsive and helpful! If you're looking for rest and relaxation I would recommend The Acorn!

The cabin was great for a quick little private getaway. We enjoyed the location on the river and we're thankful for a quiet private place to take our dogs!

We love it there. This was our second time in the cabin, and third time on their properties. The place is so warm and inviting. Extremely private, clean, and had everything in the kitchen to cook with. Can’t wait to go back. Melanie was extremely accommodating, and even allowed us another hour to sleep in. 5 Star all day long!!😀

We had a great stay at Amanda’s place. The outdoor space was incredible. We enjoyed the comfortable, spacious deck, fire pit and wonderful lake. The hot tub and sauna were an added bonus! Amanda was a great host, very responsive and thoughtful. Her home was very clean and peaceful/quiet. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. One thing to note, you do have to pass through the smaller bedroom to get to the master bed and the bathroom is located in the smaller bedroom. Overall, we had a wonderful time!

Private and peaceful. Tucked away in the woods, with everything you need and more. Look forward to coming back in the future!
