Has a propane BBQ to finish off the day at the beach, rafting down the beautiful Smith River or hiking in the Redwoods." Be sure to comb the beach for Agates and unique pebbles.

Guest suite is 2 nd story w/private access. Magical ForestCore design. Primary Bedroom w/Queen bed, 1 bathroom W/shower & living room has a queen Pull down Murphy bed , 6 person dining & Kitchenette. Air mattress also available for more than 4 guest. Were on 3.5 acres on gravel road tucked in redwoods. Ample parking ,2 min walk to Smith River,10 min drive to hiking trails & Redwood national Parks. 20 min drive to beach. Horseback riding nearby for both forest & beach rides (requires Res)

Smith River - Riverfront Retreat

Located on the beautiful Smith River*. Fully furnished. 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom. Spacious living room with large windows providing beautiful views of the the river. Refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, blender, toaster, ironing board/iron, washer and dryer. Wifi, Roku with streaming channels (bring your login info for Hulu, Amazon, Netflix, etc). * river is not accessible from the home however there is access about 1 mile down the road. Please do not try to access river from our property.

Small Cozy studio is connected to the owner’s home but is private with your own entrance. The studio retreat is less than 3 miles to scenic Crescent Beach, Battery Point Lighthouse. Located only 4 miles to downtown Crescent City and harbor where you will find shopping, restaurants, and Ocean World.

Welcome to Serenity Garden where you will find the Cottage situated amongst tranquil Redwoods. Enjoy this cozy 2 bedroom and 1 bathroom cottage. Just outside your door you will find a manicured 3-acre blissful escape from the hustle of life. Explore old growth redwood stumps, watch birds and pollinators work in the sun, and close your eyes to absorb the sound of the waterfall at the pond. Pick fresh berries or fruit when it is in season, and enjoy soaking up the peace.

Red Barn 5 mins to the River, Ocean & Redwoods!

You won’t forget the peaceful surroundings of this rustic destination. Located 3 miles from the pristine Smith River, Redwood National Park and the beach. Everything is there you might need during your stay. The barn is tastefully fully furnished with a well equipped kitchen in a country setting with outdoor seating, fire pit, hammocks and a gas grill for a relaxing getaway enjoying the outdoors. Beach chairs and beach towels are provided for your enjoyment.

Gayle's Garden Cottage

A tiny house cottage set in a garden amongst the redwoods, surrounded by rhodies, maples, birch and apple trees. Beautiful in all seasons. The cottage is foam insulated and thus very quiet for a good night's sleep. I use fragrance free detergent on linens. The queen bed (3 layers of high density memory foam mattresses) is in a loft, accessible by an angled loft ladder with handhold cutouts (not suitable for infants or children). Nema 14-50 plug available.

Glamping Redwood Camper • Pet Friendly

Relax among the redwoods! Be our guest in this charming 19 ft glamping camper after a day exploring the coast or hiking breathtaking trails through Redwood State Parks. Nestled beside the main house on our peaceful 2-acre Fort Dick property, the camper offers morning coffee views of towering redwoods, giant old-growth stumps, and lush ferns. Just 4.6 miles to the beach, with Wi-Fi, smart TV, and private parking. Pets welcome — must be cat friendly.

Fern Hook Cabins 900

Fern Hook Vacation Cabins are located nearby Jedidiah Smith State Park in the tiny hamlet of Hiouchi, California. Indulge yourself in a private setting of magnificent redwoods carpeted with ferns. Our newly constructed cabins with full kitchens will provide deluxe accommodations while you enjoy this natural wonderland. We are pet friendly, but require a 30$ per pet fee, for each reservation.
