Nancy's Nest -At Home on the Farm - 2 bedrooms

This quaint, early 1900's farm house sits among shady trees and overlooks a beautiful pasture and garden. Rock on the porch or roast marshmallows in the fire pit. The parking and turn around are big enough to accommodate a trailer. It's convenient to horse trails, hiking, kayaking, and biking on the beautiful Cumberland Plateau. Big South Fork National Recreation Area, Pickett State Park, Historic Rugby, Muddy Pond, and Sgt. Alvin C. York's Museum and Burial Place are all within 30 minutes.

The house is located on our 80+ acre family farm where black angus cattle also reside. You may also spot deer, turkeys, and other wildlife. There are numerous bird feeders so you can enjoy birdwatching from several outdoor seating areas. The property is filled with paths through wildflower gardens and has expansive views of the surrounding mountains.

The Cozy Cabell Cottage

It’s time for an adventure at our vacation rental, Cabell Cottage. With Lake Cumberland only 5 minutes away via the Cabell landing....really your boat is 5 minutes from being in the water; the cottage can be your base for all things fun on the lake (swimming, boating, and fishing). Did I CATCH your interest with fishing. However, if it’s a retreat you seek, the cottage is also for you as it sits in a quiet, very pretty, rural area of Wayne County, Kentucky, where 5 can sleep easily.

All rooms have a view of the lake and the deck overlooks Dale Hollow. We are a mile from Wolf River Boat Dock. The suite is downstairs with a private entrance. There are walking paths that encompasses 3 acres on the property. The private deck has a fire pit for chilly mornings to enjoy coffee or relaxing evening. Located in the backyard of the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area, in Allardt at the corner of Hwys. 296 and 52, The Old Allardt Schoolhouse, circa 1910, has been restored for your lodging pleasure. The schoolhouse features two bedrooms and two baths furnished in elegant antiques, fully equipped kitchen, central heat and air, high speed DSL internet, fireplace, as well as front and back porches complete with rocking chairs to help rock your cares away.

John L. Wright Cabin

Enjoy a peaceful escape. This newly built cabin with all the modern features is located in historic Stearns, KY. Surrounded by trees and overlooking a beautiful pasture, visitors can relax and enjoy the Big South Fork and Daniel Boone National Forest hiking and horseback riding trails, kayaking, and Cumberland Falls scenic attractions. Also enjoy and view the Big South Fork scenic railway train. Security cameras are turned off when guest are occupying cabin.

Deer Lodge Bed & Breakfast

This is a very private cottage located in the trees with a view of a beautiful private pond. You will have a large deck that faces the pond, private parking, complete kitchen facilities, washer and dryer, and a large bathroom. You won’t find a more peaceful & serene setting. The pond is stocked with 4 types of fish, so bring your gear. You can watch the hawks, ducks maybe even some deer. Everything you need is provided whether you stay a night or a week.
