Gabriel place was nice and clean and was how it was described. I was in town for business for a day and a half. Gabriel’s place was perfect for that.

We found this apartment comfortable and close to the grocery store, and restaurants. We enjoyed meeting the daughter of one of the owners. The place was clean and comfortable.

Dave was a great host. He answered any questions I had, before, during and after my stay without delay. The space is very peaceful and was perfect for my stay. The renovations he has done give the apartment a nice modern touch and look. The location is nice and quiet, which was perfect in the mornings and nights. Overall I had a good experience with Dave and his apartment!

Perfect place to stay. Absolutely spotless. I have never stayed in as clean a AirBnb as this place. Location is quiet and right next to almost everything you would need. I will definitely continue to book this place again and again.

After arriving at another Airbnb that wasn't as listed, we were on the hunt for another one. We saw Nathan's listing, contacted him and reserved his place. He waited for us to arrive, got us in and showed us around. He even offered to help with our luggage. Nathan couldn't be more friendly and helpful. His listing was as advertised. It was extremely clean, well stocked and overall very homey. We will be going back. Thanks Nathan.

We’ve made a few trips to Marietta over the years but this was the first time staying at Maxx’s. We enjoyed it very much! Such a great location within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Not to mention, above McKenna’s - our favorite sub shop!! Check-in was easy and having the parking lot across the street was super convenient! All around great experience!

The decor is so cute! I loved this place, it felt cozy, and the layout was comfortable. The backyard was my favorite, it was so beautifully decorated.

This is the second time my son and I have stayed; Teresa has been extremely flexible and accommodating. When we come back again, we will make it a point to stay if the unit is available. I highly recommend her place.

Cindy has an amazing place to stay that was easily accessible for my family. Although we had a-lot of running around for my son’s graduation, it was nice to have a place to go back to rest up. Sorry we didn’t have time to meet face to face, but Cindy answered any emails promptly. We definitely recommend Cindy’s place to our friends that have children at Ohio U and want a close place to stay in the future. If we ever plan a trip back, we w look yo book again. The stay was overall very good and we would recommend this property. The location was beautiful and secluded. The caretaker was warm and welcoming. Instructions on how to access the property were prompt and detailed. The garage apartment smelled very good and was exceptionally clean. It is set up more like a studio. The entryway is where the first bed is located with laundry and bathroom. The second bed is located in the main studio area. The laundry was very helpful with detergent available. If you have pets, please kennel them as there are pet deterrents behind the couch that could be dangerous. Overall it is a 5/5 rating and we have shared the listing with family for when they stay in the area.

Hosts Brenda and Deborah were extremely warm, welcoming, and flexible! We were on a short trip for a graduation at Ohio University, about 12 minutes away. Due to delayed flights and 1.5 hour drive from Columbus Airport, we didn't arrive until 10:30pm, and Deb was waiting on the porch to greet us and get us settled. Very much appreciated! Communication was great, including directions (by phone) re: the country roads in the dark. The space is large, as described and seen in photos, sort of a "basement apartment" in a gorgeous area, very peaceful. The place and hosts are down-to-earth, as we had hoped, making our stay lovely and enjoyable. 😊 Thank you!

This is a wonderful, clean, and convenient place to stay if you are visiting Athens or Ohio University. Everything was as detailed in the description and in others' reviews. The apartment was very clean, had everything we needed for five people to sleep comfortably, and there were some nice extra touches too. The location is great. You can walk uptown or to campus in 15 minutes, and be along the Hocking River in 5 minutes. The Jackie's O's Cannery is just a few minute walk away and is a great option for a family-friendly place to grab a drink (and hopefully a delicious sandwich from the Bagel Street Deli food truck if it's open when you're there). This apartment made for an easy and enjoyable trip to Athens and Ohio University. We didn't need Christine's assistance at all, but she made clear she was always available if we did need it. Highly recommend!

Janice’s place was very well kept. Other reviews mentioned the great snacks, but I was still surprised at how well she stocked us up! She did a wonderful job. The kitchen has all of the necessary items to cook for yourself, there was plenty of coffee available, and extra towels on hand. The paper towels and toilet paper were quality too! She made it feel so welcoming! It was so much better than getting a hotel, and it allowed us to easily get to all of the places we needed to, without having to drive 30+ minutes one way each time. Would absolutely book here again when visiting the area.
