The Riverhaus

Welcome to the Riverhaus! Established in 2020, this sanctuary was thoughtfully designed with comfort in mind. This 2-acre gated estate with a 1,900 sqft home and 100' of waterfront on the Pedernales River sleeps 8 comfortably and boasts a private outdoor Biergarten as well as a cabinet of lawn games, two firepits, multiple seating areas, and a fleet of non-motorized boats to enjoy on the river. Situated on the upper level of the property is a spacious two-story home. Take advantage of numerous amenties including a gameroom, lending library, two work stations, Roku television, Wii gaming system and Yoga equipment. Enjoy your morning coffee on one of the two decks as you listen to the sound of windchimes and wildlife. On the lower level under a canopy of old Oak trees, you can roast s'mores on another firepit or walk down to the water's edge to fish, swim, kayak, canoe or paddleboard. Life jackets are provided (Two adult, four child, & two infant). ***Disclaimer*** River levels are currently very low at this time.

Other area attractions are Guadalupe State Park, Natural Bridge Caverns, Schlitterbahn, Fiesta Texas, Wimberly, Luckenbach, Whitewater Amphitheater, and Fredericksburg. Unwind in a restored log cabin just for two with special comforts and seclusion, perched amidst oak trees, with a detached screened porch/fireplace. There is ONLY ONE guest cabin on 26 acres with our Lake Travis shoreline in the distance. A pastoral sunrise view of deer across the field begins the day. Central A/C, smart tv, clawfoot tub/shower, cotton bedding, duvet and robes. Propane grill. See the night sky, Wildlife/flowers, birding, stars-all yours. We opened Chanticleer Log Cabin in 1996!

This lake house is our family’s happy place! You can grill under the covered pavilion with outdoor ceiling fans, roast marshmallows in the firepit, play in the private pool, swim off the dock and try our 2 kayaks. Fun facts: There are 2 bathrooms which are located inside of 2 of the bedrooms. So whoever is in the 3rd bedroom, will have to sneak through a bedroom to get to one of the bathrooms. Quirky- but FUN. The path to the lake is private but steep with loose gravel.
