He wisely recognized for decades to come this would be a prized place of rest, enjoyed by 5 generations. Our two kayaks for beginners and new paddle board are available for rent. Explore the unbelievable beauty of the Olympic National Park just a few miles away featuring hiking to rainforests, glaciers, and mountain lakes.

The Nut House

Glamping in the trees. Come experience the beauty and serenity of being in the forest in a unique craftsman treehouse on beautiful Camano Island just an hour and ten minutes north of Seattle. Your private parking and short trail leads to a short cable bridge into a cozy 150 sq. ft. cabin 13 ft above the forest floor. You’ll be surrounded by mahogany walls with a cozy full size futon up in the loft. If the futon is too cozy a campsite is available. The treehouse is warm even on chilly nights.

This incredible high-bank property combines striking panoramic views of the mountains, ocean & islands with a modern and newly remodeled interior. Experience some of the best sunsets of your life from the large outside deck that includes a grill (May-September) and an outdoor dining area (fire pit currently unavailable). This 500 sq. ft. apartment is completely private with 2 entries, a full kitchen with gas range, and a full sized refrigerator. The bathroom with whirlpool tub and shower (I clean the jets after every visit!) is large and the living and dining are combined. Your views from the property are gorgeous!! and the deck shows off a bit of heaven on earth. You are welcome to use our washer and dryer. We live in the main house which your apartment is connected to. We are available any time.

For active leisure, there is a basketball hoop, a pickleball court, a ping pong table, and best of all, the viewing of very cute alpacas!
