Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Must be ok with steps, lots of steps! Located in downtown Lehighton Pa. A few minutes to historic downtown Jim Thorpe and the D&L trail for hiking, biking, rafting, wining, dining and more! Also 20 minutes to Blue Mountain Ski Resort. We have a designated parking lot if street parking isn’t available. Never a parking concern. Walking distance to Insurrection distillery, Bonnie & Clyde’s restaurant as well as many local shops.

The home can accommodate up to 8 guests with 3 queen-sized beds and 1 bunk bed (Note: bunk bed is in its own room). Enjoy unlimited hot water from the tankless water heater, wifi, streaming television, a fully stocked chef's kitchen, outdoor gas grill, indoor gas fireplace and outdoor firepit. The cabin is a peaceful and serene escape, yet just a short walk away from all the attractions. The cabin is 475 square feet with a living room, kitchenette, dining area and bathroom on the ground floor. The bedroom/loft is upstairs. ***The cabin is very close to the main house and shares a backyard (nothing else is shared). The backyard is yours, including propane BBQ, outdoor fireplace, tables and chairs. You can listen to music, talk and have fun outside as late as you like.

The self-contained suite has private front and rear entrances & easy parking. There are 3 steps to the front door. The space includes a full-size bed, a full bath, and a kitchenette with a microwave, toaster, coffee pot and Keurig, small fridge, and dining essentials. Laundry is available upon request, and light breakfast foods will be available.

The Shanty at Blue Mountain

The Shanty is a one room cottage for a weekend get-away, a short to long-term work assignment or the perfect spot for creative work like composing or writing. It is three miles from access to the Appalachian Trail and is an ideal respite for thru hikers. It is only 30 minutes to Blue Mountain Ski Resort. It is a sunny room just a few steps from a private bathroom in the main house. Views to the west and north of the Blue Mountain. Continental style breakfast is included.

Stay in a private, serene studio on Bear Mountain in scenic Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania. You'll be steps away from famous hiking trails (Glen Onoko), ski slopes (Jack Frost and Big Boulder), and the heart of charming Jim Thorpe (which is consistently listed as one of America's best small towns). Cabin by the creek

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Cozy 2 bedroom cabin that sits a few feet from the creek. The property includes 2 acres of woods on the other side of the creek. Walk across the footbridge and down a short path to a small pond. The cabin was originally a hunting cabin. Over the years it was expanded and converted into a year round residence. The cabin had a 1970’s vibe, so when we renovated it we tried to keep that feel.

A small suite located above the town of Jim Thorpe. I am really geared towards couples looking for a weekend getaway. The space is smaller but very easily accomadates two people. A big step up from any hotel room/suite. The rental is not located in the town of Jim Thorpe. I am located about 10 minutes outside of town and about 5 minutes away from Penns Peak. The rental is connected to home but completely seperate.
