I recently had an amazing stay at an Airbnb with a breathtaking ocean view, and it truly exceeded my expectations! The property was perfectly positioned right on the coastline. The interior was stylish and well-appointed, with a cozy atmosphere that made it feel like a luxurious escape. Every morning, I enjoyed sipping coffee while listening to the sound of the waves, which was incredibly refreshing. The host was exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable, providing great recommendations for local eateries and activities. The area was peaceful. Overall, this place was a dream come true for a beach lover like me. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with a spectacular ocean view! I can't wait to return!

Amy's place is ideally located for walking everywhere in Arcata. just blocks from the Plaza, Arcata Marsh and Wildlife Sanctuary, grocery and other stores, and a walkable distance to Cal Poly Humboldt and Arcata's Redwood Park. The house itself is cozy and pleasant, with plenty of space inside, and a very inviting outdoor seating area for nice days. The beds are very comfy, the shower is great, and all house systems are in excellent working order. Love the big, fluffy towels! Amy was very welcoming and helpful, proactively sending all the info we needed. Getting in was a snap, and checkout was a breeze. We very much hope to stay again on future visits. Highly recommend!!!

I'm a 72yo husband to a much younger woman of 69. There are amenities that are inconsequential for much younger travelors that matter moreso to the silver crowd. Understand that nothing I add here subtracts from the accommodations listed, they are only observations near and dear to weary geriatrics. The unit is up a flight of stairs that are attached to the exterior of the building. This is a non-issue to travelers younger than I. The bathroom has been meticulously remodeled. Shower has a wide entry door with a minimum of threshold so no stubbed toes. However, the large shower has no grab bars which is concerning when you can't open your eyes while rinsing or turning. I have found that not all commodes are the same height so be aware this unit has a very low landing height without a grab point to resurrect one to upright. Nonetheless, the unit remains a fantastic lodging experience and in no way should my observations deter an informed traveler from selecting Scott's great offering.

My family and I loved the green cabin, even in the rain! We visited, played board games and watched movies provided. The layout of property is perfect. Lots of comfy beds, generous seating on couch and table. We are already planning our next stay!

We loved staying here. The location is perfect being next to a cute walkable neighborhood and downtown Arcata. Also right across the street from an upscale grocery store and cafe. The home is very quiet, cozy and comfortable with a big, fenced in backyard perfect for a dog. Great place. We'll certainly come back.
