Spacious accommodations with a great view and place to relax outside and enjoy the nice weather. Quiet neighborhood with over an acre of land and plenty of privacy. Private entrance and plenty of space to park. Great area to kayak or canoe (equipment provided for a fee). No pets allowed. Please read house rules before booking.

Nestled among the oak trees, at the top of a riverbank, you'll find a beautiful handmade dovetail log cabin overlooking the East River. Come explore the 25 acre wooded property in Riverton with hundreds of feet of river front. The river offers wonderful swimming and fishing opportunities with three great salmon holes within a 5 minute walk from the cabin. The cabin is a work of art and has all the amenities you need to make your stay comfortable. It is a 5 minute hike to access the cabin.

Riverside Cottage (with heated pool Mid Jun -Sept)

Cottage sits right alongside of the West River of Pictou and has a heated swimming pool—weather permitting. Very quiet and private. Couples/Singles only. Free use of the onsite canoe or kayaks. There is a private firepit onsite which can be used when the government burn restrictions permit, and a private deck with a bbq. There is also an above ground heated pool shared with the owners. Outside, unwind in the private hot tub, gather around the fire pit, or relax with a book in your favourite adirondack chair, and savor meals at the picnic table. Your perfect escape awaits amidst nature's beauty.

Set back from a clifftop on the Northumberland Strait, 3 minute walk to beautiful sandy beach. 1900 sq. ft. Cottage has been completely renovated inside with new kitchen, bath, flooring, all furnishings and appliances replaced. 30ft. Front deck has covered and open sections.
