Το "Sihna" είναι εμπνευσμένο από το έθιμο της γιορτής των Σίχνων που τελείται στο Λιτόχωρο ανήμερα των Θεοφανείων. Έχει τις ρίζες του στο Βυζάντιο και συνεχίζεται μέχρι σήμερα. Τα Σίχνα είναι ψηλά κοντάρια με ασημένιο ή χρυσό σταυρό στην κορυφή, που φέρουν πολύχρωμες σημαίες. Πρόκειται για αφιερώματα συντεχνιών και ναυτικών οικογενειών, τα οποία συμμετέχουν με καθορισμένη ιεροτελεστία στον καθαγιασμό των υδάτων στο Λιτόχωρο. The central square of the town is just 2 minutes walking where you can find many restaurants, coffee shops, bars, markets etc. The bus station is just 2 minutes walking (called “Platia Makedonias” ). You can go in some of beaches such as Paralia and Olympic by bus. The Park of Katerini (Parko Katerinis) is just 10 min walking and it is a must visit place.

The apartment is located between Epanomi and Nea Iraklia. It is about 40km away from Thessaloniki and its airport. It is easily accessible by car, but there's also public transport if you're feeling adventurous! The flat is on the 2nd floor and its view is amazing! You can watch the sun setting right behind the mountain of Olympus! There are beach bars about 2km away but if you're the less populated beach type of people, the little beach just below the apartment will satifsy your needs!
