The residence features an all-white interior, subtle contrasting grays, an array of textures and motifs, wood accents, chic furnishings, a shaded front porch & backyard seating with a fire pit. There are two twin sofa beds in living room, and as needed, we can set up a twin roll-away in the bedroom with the king bed. We can also put a twin air bed in the dinning area! This 1923 HISTORIC 1/2 double is in a very quiet neighborhood & has been recently remodeled top to bottom. All of the furnishings, fixtures, appliances, paint, flooring & porches are BRAND NEW. It's comfortable, cozy & quaint.....with updates galore! It features 3 bedrooms (King, Queen, & Queen size beds) and 2 full baths. The living room has a 54 inch TV, two twin sleeper sofas, seating for 6, and a rustic ceiling fan. (Upon request, additional sleeping arrangements can be made for 2 more people.) The spacious dining room has a large butcher block table with lots of seating. The brand new kitchen is fully equipped for your stay. It has stainless appliances, quartz & butcher block countertops and barstool seating. The house is WiFi equipped with 3 TV sets. OUTSIDE The covered front porch allows great views of the quiet neighborhood’s green space & comfortable seating for 4. Out back, we have a charcoal grill, a table, seating for 6 & a fire pit w/firewood. Off street parking is available— as well as lots of off-street parking, that is well-lit in a family centered neighborhood. We think you will enjoy our newly-restored retreat & all it has to offer. The Snookmore is perfectly located just 3 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway and 8 miles from downtown Asheville. Just hop on the Parkway and have the Appalachian wilderness at your beck and call or mosey on down to the hottest town the South has to offer. Its only neighbors are ourselves and our other rental house, the Snookery. Note on Helene: we were very luck in Snookville with a lot of downed trees, but nothing structural. There are still outages, but the generators keep the power on.
