Kids Love It! Adults Love It! And the dogs will love that you came to walk them and play with them. We'll all meet at the amazing Shelter Island! You will meet our pack of rescue dogs of all sizes and origins, and help us exercise, socialize and publicize them! It helps these neglected (and sometimes abused) dogs learn to trust people again, and socializes them for public adoption events! We will walk the dogs the length of the Island and back, with great views of the marina, the ocean and across to the Navy yards. You will play with the dogs, help socialize them including treat-time, and get lot's of Instagram worthy photos! We will end at the beach , and then you will have time to explore Shelter Island and perhaps grab a coffee at a local shop! Other things to note It will probably be sunny! Wear sunscreen. You may want to wade in the water, or even swim, dress appropriately for that, and for the sand!

We will begin our classes with teaching everyone how to make pasta from scratch: ravioli, spaghetti, tagliatelle! We provide also a vegan alternative with dough without eggs. You will learn how to do 3 types of long pasta, 3 of short, and 4 different kind of ravioli. You can take this knowledge with you to your own kitchen with a copy of our recipes for you. You will help us free fly our falcons on the cliffs of La Jolla at the Torrey Pines Gliderport, a National Historical Place and beloved landmark. In our Experience, offered through Total Raptor Experience San Diego, you'll learn how to call and release one of our trained birds using a falconry glove, and admire their aerial skills while they soar above the cliffs. You'll get an up-close and personal view of their mastery of flight as they perform simulated hunting behaviors, swooping, ground-skimming and diving at high speed after a moving target. At the same time we will discuss raptor flight styles and how they contribute to the diverse ecologies of different types of hawks and falcons. We are happy to introduce you to the 60-minute Glow Boat Experience on pedal boats, a romantic night date idea in San Diego Bay! The boat illuminates 360 degrees inside and outside, and riding it after dark is a lot of fun. To complete your experience, a speaker and a small disco ball will make your boat rock'n'roll. Our crew will guide you through Night Bay to ensure you feel safe and know where to go. On an average night, we have a group of 12 boats and two boats with our crew. We will start at America's Cup Harbor, and after short pedaling, you will find yourself in San Diego Bay with a beautiful Night view of Downtown. We will play music, cruise around, and enjoy the skyline. The experience will end at the same location where it started. Pedal boats can accommodate up to 3 adults (600lb maximum weight). No experience is necessary to maneuver these pedal boats; you are good to go if you can ride a bike! You will stay dry all the time! Sitting 300 ft above sea level on golden carved out sandstone, overlooking the deep blues and greens of the Pacific Ocean, with cozy seating, ample shade, a deluxe meal, and intimate connection. You will arrive at the picnic location and be greeted by your host, who will walk you down a trail for around 5-7 minutes to your fully set up picnic. This area is covered by the ocean half of the day- during high tide- and the pools are exposed at low tide, which creates a unique, yet fragile, habitat for lots of small invertebrates and fish! At our meeting spot, I will give you a brief talk on safety and tide pool rules, as all San Diego tide pools have a strict "no collection" policy. Once we understand how to tide pool safely and respectfully, the adventure begins!
