Farm Cottage for a escape to the country

New barn conversion. I have tried to maintain the character. The decor is Agri/industrial, reusing as much of the raw materials around the farm. It has three king-size beds all on-suite. 1 x Very large bedroom upstairs with sofa and balcony and 2 smaller ground floor bedrooms. Each room has a TV and wifi. The main living room includes a kitchen, a table, a large L-shaped sofa and coffee table: an outdoor table and chairs, BBQ and a covered area for storing bikes and a EV Charger (50p/kw) etc.

The Cabin is a purpose built log cabin with easy access for people with impaired mobility. It is positioned in an isolated private garden of a family owned smallholding. The Cabin looks out over the surrounding country. It has its own secluded private garden and foot access to many acres of local woods and walks. We welcome dogs and they stay for free. But please let us know you are bringing them. We do not accept bookings that include infants or children as we are only insured for adults.

You’ll love my cottage because of the peaceful situation, newly fitted kitchen, comfortable living room with Sky TV, wifi, high quality beds, sheets and towels..Well behaved dogs are welcome at £10 each per visit, the garden is fully enclosed on all sides. The property sits in the most spectacular location in the heart of the beautiful Towy Valley and adjacent to the river in an elevated position with uninterrupted views to the river from a large private balcony with glass balustrades. Just 5 miles from the market town of Carmarthen and the town of Llandeilo and a short drive to many spectacular beaches of Gower and Pembrokeshire. The town of Laugharne, Dylan Thomas’s birthplace with estuary and castle is well worth a visit.

Holt Cottage is set in the countryside that Dylan Thomas would have gazed upon and has view of his Boathouse and Writing Shed.

The Hut also has gated wooden steps leading down to a fully enclosed dog friendly paddock which is for your own private use . For the colder nights along with the underfloor heating our log burner will keep you toasty through the night.

Maes Y Grove Cottage is one of a pair of properties on a quiet but accessible small holding in a rural area situated between the villages of Llanddarog and Nantgaredig and conveniently situated for the National Botanical Gardens of Wales, Aberglasney Gardens, Llandeilo Town and Carmarthen.
