Another Successful Staycation at This Lake St. Clair Canal Home!

Excellent host and beautiful house! This was my third stay and not my last!

Our stay at this home exceeded our expectations. The hosts went above and beyond and all the little extras were delightful!

I cannot say enough good words about our experience! We had a leadership work retreat and the location was perfect. The house is absolutely beautiful and it felt just like home the second you walked through the door. The view from the back deck is breath taking with easy access to the beach. Shay was extremely nice and checked in on us via text over the weekend as well, which was nice and comforting. Highly recommend going through Shay!

The home was beautiful and spacious. We felt right at home as soon as we arrived. It was a great bonus to have a washer and dryer for our week stay. We loved the views that surrounded us. The water made it very peaceful.

Patrick’s place was perfect. Easy to find and peaceful location. Place was exactly as described and what was in the pictures. Would definitely say again.

Sharon and Matt deserve 10 stars. Their hospitality is unmatched. Not only was the home beautiful, but they were both prompt, responsive, and proactive whenever we needed to get ahold of them. Our stay at the home was a temporary long term stay, and it felt like home from the moment we walked in, we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay while our homenwas being renovated. If you are looking to get away to Marine City, this is the only place I would recommend. Thank you Sharon and Matt for a wonderful, stress-free stay!

We had a great time at Jessie's place! Lovely, clean home on a quiet street, close to the lake. The kitchen and main bedroom were especially nice. My kids loved the bonus room at the top of the stairs and spent most of their time there! My in-laws were also very impressed. Fast, friendly communication with the host. We would definitely book again if we stay in that area in the future!

Great stay, perfect spot to have quick access to the lake if you brought a boat. House was clean and had all the amenities you could ask for. We had a great time, and will be making this our go to place for our annual trip.

It was a short stay, visiting family for the holiday. Perfect, clean, well appointed and the holiday decorations beautiful! Check in was flexible and let us have a late check out a nice surprise! Thank you would stay at the home again.

Great location for fishing the river, lots of bedrooms, and big shower.

The house was perfect for our two families to share while in town for a hockey tournament. The place was nice and clean and had everything we needed. The place looks even better than in the photos. Would definitely return

Staying at Nicole's place was such a a great experience! It was so relaxing that a lot of the time we just wanted to stay there and not go out. We saw ducks, swans, robins,herons. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. My dog enjoyed the sunroom very much! We saw beautiful sunsets! I will definitely stay there again if it's available! Thank you Nicole

What a find! We had our four adult kids join us for a weekend and this was the perfect spot! So beautiful and a perfect family hang out. The view is outstanding!! But Katie as a host was the best part. We had a medical emergency while we were here and had to rearrange some plans and she was amazing. Super helpful, responsive and flexible while we were figuring it all out. We were so grateful that we ended up at Katie’s place!! Highly recommend!

Had a great time fishing Lake St Clair with friends. House was as described and host was very accommodating. We had room to park and charge our bass boat which was very helpful.

Lucy’s place was spacious and clean. The check in process was smooth, and the house was well kept. We have staid at one of her other places before and we plan to stay with her agin this summer.

My family and I had the most wonderful time. The home was clean and very comfy. There are so many things to do there on the island and surrounding areas. The locals on the island are so warm hearted and helpful. The view is priceless. I found myself just wanting to look out the windows. Can’t say enough about the beautiful water. Husband had a guided fishing tour and fell in love with this lake. Wished it wasn’t so cold, is a perfect place to consider retiring to. Thank you again Alice for all of your help. Great place! We've stayed here multiple times and everytime it's been great. The hosts are easy to work with and the place is always in great condition. I would highly recommend this house! The lake is absolutely beautiful!
