Mooie landelijke omgeving. Een oase van rust. Wij hadden een auto gehuurd, waardoor we veel in de omgeving konden verkennen. Antonina is een lieve vrouw die heerlijke taart voor ons gebakken gehad bij aankomst en later in de week nog een keer. Ze is verder heel behulpzaam. In het dorpje zitten een paar winkeltjes en een restaurant, een aanrader voor liefhebbers van lokale lekkernijen.

Lovely place to stay with spectacular views! The apartment has everything you would need. Very friendly hosts and it was great to hear all about their farm.

Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances à borgo papardo. nous avons apprécié la vue sur l'Etna qui nous offert deux magnifiques éruptions, l'odeur des citronniers en fleurs et les enfants ont passé beaucoup de temps à la piscine malgré sa fraîcheur. Placido est très disponible pour toute information.

We had a lovely stay and a local host contact to assist us with any questions, concerns, and reservations. Recommend a very small car if you plan to park on premises though there is street parking available.

The pool house was AMAZING! The view was incredible. It’s very quiet, just a little oasis to yourself. The pool is not heated but in 22 degrees and sunny in May, it is refreshing and swimmable - even our 10 month old baby enjoyed it. The home itself is exactly as the pictures show, tall ceilings and airy with huge windows to open to let the air circulate. There is an awesome espresso machine that is easy to use with just the touch of a button, and everything else you need to cook at home. Daniela was there when we arrived and welcomed us warmly and showed us around. There was a bottle of wine and some Sicilian sweets and marmalade which was also a nice touch. If you are driving, it is quite a climb up with some tight turns so be ready to put your driving to the test. But if you’re driving in Sicily you’ll likely already be used to this! Just take it slow and it’s really no problem. Highly recommend the pool house!

Emilie and Alberto have the perfect spot in Castelmola. You can't beat the view and it's so incredibly easy to access. Alberto grew up in Castelmola and has all of the great recommendations. My mom and I rented the bottom and top floors, making it a perfect stay with plenty of space! Parking is incredibly easy. The beds are also comfortable, which is so important. I'll definitely be back!

Das Ferienhaus von Francesco ist toll am Hang des Ätna gelegen mit Terrassenblick nach Nord-Osten. Von der Terrasse genießt man einen schönen Blick über die Weinfelder und ins Tal von Linguaglossa. Man kann dort wirklich seine Ruhe genießen und es gibt zwei Restaurants, die in Fußnähe sind. Ein Mietwagen ist dennoch zu empfehlen um die tolle Umgebung (Ausflug zum Ätna - 16km, Strand südlich von Naxos - ca 20km, Taormina (große Empfehlung) - ca 30km, Schlucht von Alcantara - ca 20km und und und) ausgiebig zu erkunden. Alles in allem ein sehr schönes Ferienhaus für bis zu 4 Personen mit toller ruhiger Lage und phantastischer Aussicht. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Super Kommunikation mit Paolo. zwar haben wir die Unterkunft nicht so schnell gefunden, aber Paolo holte uns persönlich ab und begleitete uns zu der Unterkunft. Super sauber! Ganz ruhig und tolle Aussicht auf das Meer und den Ätna. Wir besuchten Catania und Syrakus und kehrten abends gerne wieder in unsere ruhige Unterkunft zurück. Die Zeit ging leider zu schnell vorbei.

Die Unterkunft war klasse. Die Straße wirkt erst einmal etwas gruselig, aber ein paar Meter weiter kommt man zu einem tollen Viertel mit vielen progressiven und coolen Läden. Und es ist nah zum Zentrum und Fischmarkt. Die Kommunikation war immer schnell, hilfreich und freundlich. Die Eingangstür ist wirklich cool – sie erinnert an einen Escape Room. Tipp: Beim Abschließen muss man zuerst den grünen Schlüssel oben verwenden und dann den roten. Beim Öffnen beginnt man unten mit dem roten Schlüssel und verwendet anschließend den grünen oben. Also: Öffnen: von unten nach oben – rot, grün Schließen: von oben nach unten – grün, rot. Von uns eine ganz klare Empfehlung! Es ist ein wirklich tolles Airbnb

Soggiorno fantastico a Nicolosi! Abbiamo soggiornato nell'appartamento di Giuseppe e non potremmo essere più soddisfatti. L'appartamento era molto carino, ben arredato e curato in ogni dettaglio. La posizione è perfetta per esplorare la zona, specialmente se si desidera visitare l'Etna e i suoi dintorni. Giuseppe è stato un host eccezionale, sempre disponibile e pronto a darci consigli utili su cosa fare e dove andare. Ci siamo trovati benissimo in tutto, dall'accoglienza alla pulizia dell'appartamento. Lo consigliamo vivamente e speriamo di tornarci presto!

Magnifique séjour dans une maison hors du temps avec 3 ados. L'endroit est magique, situé entre Etna et mer pour ceux qui aiment les deux. A recommander sans hésitation Seul bémol, une partie des matelas devrait être changé Merci à Luigi pour ce partage ;)

Stayed here in this quaint little seaside village off the beaten track only for 3 nights and wish we had more time. I don’t quite get what that negative review was about because this house split between 2 floors was so perfectly styled & furnished with everything you need. Definitely not your typical Sicilian holiday home. So much space in both apartments with an incredible rooftop overlooking MtEtna - & weren’t we lucky this time to see it alive. Amazing pool with lushes green gardens. Kids loved it! Great local restaurants & bars right along the water. It was about a 30min drive to Taormina but I tell you we all much preferred hanging out in this village going for an evening walk along the sea. Great experience. Real Sicily. Recommend.
