The Blue Yard

Aughinish Island is accessed by a 1 km causeway (not tidal) and is an area of unspoilt beauty with local pebble beaches a five minute walk away and the sandy beach of Traught a ten min drive away (8 km). You'll be staying on the Clare-Galway border with both the wildness of the Burren and Galway city at your doorstep.

Galway City Centre Stay

n the heart of Galway City, this newly refurbished apartment is located adjacent to Galway's infamous Woodquay, where everything is at your front door. It is one street away from Galway's main shopping and nightlife street. This apartment was renovated in 2019 but as the original building is over 100 years old there were limitations in the level of sound proofing that could be carried out. As a result sound can travel from within the building and from main city centre street.

Sycamore Cottage, 2 bedroom cottage beside the sea

Sycamore Cottage is a lovely detached cottage situated in the village of Killeenaran, fifteen miles from Galway. All ground floor the cottage can sleep four people in two double bedrooms one with an en-suite shower room as well as a family bathroom. Also in the cottage is a kitchen and sitting room with dining area and oil-burning stove. Outside is ample off road parking and a lawned garden with patio and furniture. Ideally a car is necessary when staying at this cottage.

A building with a difference - originally a truck body it is now a comfortable and peaceful self contained apartment. Open plan, it has a separate shower room with toilet. Cooking facilities include gas hob with grill and air fryer. Guests have a private deck and barbecue. There is WIFI in the cabin. Tea/coffee is provided, and a welcome breakfast pack is included. Electricity is solar generated, when possible, and an EV charger is available at an additional cost.
