A peaceful cottage, light, airy and in the country with plenty of secure parking. Discover Bath, the Cotswolds, Avebury stone circle, Lacock, Longleat, Stonehenge, Salisbury, Stourhead, Wells and Cheddar. There is charging for Electric cars about 1 mile away at Flourish Farm Shop Farleigh Road Norton St Philip (Just off the A36). My husband is a qualified instructor and offers clay pigeon shooting. 2 night minimum requirement at weekends between 1st May and 2nd January each year.

The Pigsty

The Pigsty is a modern, comfortable barn conversion situated in an area that used to be part of the farmyard, opposite our farmhouse cottage and a pretty mill with a view of the village on the hillside where the sun sets. 400 year old self-contained cottage (built in 1590 according to the plaque on the wall) in Mells, one of the most unspoiled villages in the west. Lovely stone architecture, historic buildings, blissful countryside and 3 min walk from our awarding-winning village pub The Talbot Arms. Close to Bath, Wells, Glastonbury, Lacock (Potter fans) Cheddar Gorge and Longleat. Easy drive to Cotswolds, the Dorset coast, Wales and Wye Valley.

It is three minutes from Bath Park and Ride allowing easy access to the World Heritage City of Bath. It has extensive gardens and fantastic views overlooking the Somerset countryside yet is only 3 miles from the centre of Bath. There are four bedrooms which will comfortably sleep eight people.
