Surrounded by beautiful grounds and historic outhouses, located 1.5k from Tramore beach which stretches almost 7k (behind St Patrick’s Links, Roasapenna Golf Course). Other nearby attractions include the Boardwalk Resort (1k), the famous Glen Bar & Restaurant (3k), Doe Castle (4k), Ards Friary, Marble Hill & Dunfanaghy (14k).

Luxurious modern cottage

This modern, luxurious cottage is truly special. It is located in the Tawnawully mountains by Lough Eske. It is set on 12 acres with a river running through it and a tumbling waterfall right by the cottage. Only 15 minutes drive to Donegal town, which has some really nice restaurants and bars. There is a castle to explore in the town and a wonderful craft village with a very good cafe. Ten minutes drive to Harveys Point and twelve minutes from Lough Eske castle, both reputable 5 * hotels.

Donegal Thatch Cottage

Paddys thatched cottage is a recently renovated property built circa 1880 set on 7 acres of farmland & still retains the original features/character including the internal exposed stone wall & large fireplace making it very cosy. This area is very popular for trail walking in the hills or the purpose built walkways. Outdoor activities are plentiful such as kayaking, sea swimming, guided rock climbing & golfing. If the weather doesn't permit you can always light the stove & put the feet up.

The restoration has a modern touch with tranquil decor. Our property is private and secluded. The ancient Beltany Stone Circle is 5 minutes walk away and the historic village of Raphoe 2kms away making this the ideal location from which to explore the magic of ‘Donegal’

The Bluestack Way runs along the renowned Ownea Salmon River, which is only a stone's throw from the house. This quaint one-bedroom cottage is situated in a peaceful area in lovely landscaped grounds and is the ideal location to explore the beautiful unspoilt county of Donegal. The cottage has been lovingly restored, in the traditional style and is kept cosy with a wood burning stove and oil fired central heating. The snug mezzanine bedroom overlooks the kitchen/sitting room, a delightful place to rest your head after a day's exploring.

This house is over 150 years old and has been tastefully renovated to include its beautiful original features alongside modern conveniences. The house has recently been featured in a documentary on vernacular houses in Co. Donegal.
