There is a well stocked shop and excellent pub within walking distance. There are endless footpaths, hills, trails and even bouldering on your doorstep. The accommodation is of a very high standard and sleeps 4.

High Eskholme is a detached cottage sitting in the heart of Eskdale estate set within the valley of Eskdale in the western Lake District, an area of outstanding natural beauty . On stepping out of the front door, there are walks for all abilities, over Muncaster Fell, a flat walk through woodland or walks along the river Esk. For the more ambitious, Scafell pike and the Wasdale Valley are just a car ride away, or Perhaps you would like to play the stunning 18 hole golf course, or fish the Esk.

A beautiful little yurt, sleeps 2, either a double or twin. Set next to a bubbling stream on a working lakeland sheep farm. On the findge of the Wasdale valley on the western side of the lake district. Ideal for a cozy romantic get away or base for exploring the amazing area. The yurt DOESN'T have any electricity in but it does have a lovely little wood burning stove and you have access to a mini kitchen in the utility room a short distance away . Ada’s Cottage is a seaside property based in the West Lake District/West Cumbria. The cottage backs onto the beach and is in a peaceful little village with 3 country pubs and cafe. The village also boasts the La’al Ratty; a famous Lake District steam railway. The property sleeps 4 people in 2 rooms- One double & One Twin. With both modern and original nautical features, this property is a very cosy and unique stay. Located in an ideal location to discover the Lake District via foot or train.

The Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway, known locally as “La’al Ratty” is only a ten minute walk from the cottage. Eskdale Stores is open daily. The cottage itself has been recently renovated and has a secure garden with lovely views, ideal dogs.
