amazing place and amazing hosts. we had a great time there. we were lucky to spot northern lights on our arrival. tent was heated and with heated beds. kitchen was equipped with all necessity. bathrooms were plenty and clean. Definitely coming back again.

un lugar estupendo donde pasar unos dias, no echamos de menos nada durante nuestra estancia, la casa es acogedora y los animales del rancho son preciosos. a destacar el espacio, la calidez de la casa y el cuarto de baño super amplio y con lavadora. llegada autonoma y facilidad para aparcar en la misma puerta. muy recomendable!

Inga Fue una super anfitriona si pudiera darle 20 estrellas se las daría! Si vas a viajar solo Inga es la mejor opción super recomendada! De verdad que no tengo palabras para describir lo bien que la pasé y lo agradecida que estoy de esta experiencia y de quedarme con Inga! Te hace sentir como si estuvieras en tu casa! A lakeside dream come true Just about 45 minutes from Reykjavík, this place is a true hidden gem. The cabin is beautifully located by a lake, surrounded by mountains — it honestly felt like our dream getaway. The house is perfectly equipped with everything you might need, even down to candles for cozy evenings. If you’re coming as a group of four, be aware that two guests will need to sleep on the sofa, and space can get a bit tight — but with such a stunning setting and peaceful atmosphere, it didn’t bother us at all. We took walks along the lakeshore, relaxed in the sauna with its breathtaking view of the lake, and even spotted northern lights from the hot tub. It doesn’t get better than this. We would absolutely love to come back someday. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at Margrets place. Good location for the golden circle and walking distance from ‘the Red House’ restaurant - we ate the best lamb we have ever had there! The cottage is located behind the sea surrounded by lovely gardens. The cottage is so cute, we are so pleased we got the chance to stay in a typical Icelandic home. The bathroom is downstairs, the stairs are steep but no problem for me or my mum at all. The bath is the best especially after a long day sightseeing. We would stay here again for sure :)

Really beautiful cabin in a perfect location. Good point to travel around the south from. Clean, very spacious and well laid out. Much bigger than I expected. Really good quality furniture and fittings. Lovely and warm at the end of a busy day exploring. Managed to watch a brilliant show of the northern lights from the decking. Would highly recommend.

We stayed at Petur’s cabin during our honeymoon to Iceland. It was perfect and cozy with many thoughtful touches. The lake it sits on is just beautiful and we loved waking up to the view each morning. Petur’s guidebook was very thorough and helpful, and the instructions on finding the cabin were clear and easy to follow. Thank you Petur for sharing your cabin with us, it contributed to a very special trip we will never forget! (:

Wir, eine Gruppe von 7 Personen, durften eine ganze Woche das Club House und das umliegende Anwesen des Hvammsvik Spa genießen. Das Club House ist eines von 5 Häusern und bietet alle Annehmlichkeiten und vieles mehr! Die Lage ist unbeschreiblich, es ist einfach ein Traum! Alles war richtig sauber, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bei jedem Wetter urgemütlich. Die Schlafzimmer waren allesamt mit sehr guten Betten, Kissen und Bademänteln ausgestattet. Die Bäder sehr sauber und mit allem Zubehör bestückt (Handtücher, Toilettenpapier, Body wash, Shampoo etc.) Am Morgen ist der Blick aus dem Fenster einfach wunderbar und am Abend tanzen die Nordlichter am Himmel! Noch nie haben wir so tolle Nordlichter gesehen. Das Hvammsvik Spa ist unweit vom Haus entfernt und es ist ein Juwel. Mein Mann und ich waren zum 19. mal in Island, lieben dieses wunderschöne Land und haben stets tolle Unterkünfte bewohnt… aber dieser Ort, dieses Club House ist etwas ganz besonderes. 💙❤️

If you are looking to stay near the National Park and enjoy a private, incredibly quite relaxing trip, this is the most amazing choice. For us this home was the perfect space, incredible design, stunning views with impeccable lighting. We needed to rest and relax while exploring the vast landscape of Iceland and this was beyond perfect. We will absolutely be back.

C'était une première expérience pour nous en caravane. Nous avons ADORÉ! David est tout simplement parfait. Il nous a tout bien expliqué le fonctionnement de la caravane. Il nous a aussi donné des conseils sur les sites touristiques à voir. Nous avons beaucoup aimé parcourir l'Islande avec notre mini-maison!

Just book it. It’s perfect. Incredible views, luxuriously comfortable, spotless, well-designed. Bad weather meant we couldn’t leave the property for a couple days and my goodness what a blessing that turned out to be! We didn’t want it to end! The place is spectacular. Oh, and we saw whales from the hot spring! Truly magical.

Our stay at Larus’ accommodation was magical. Such a beautiful and restful setting, we felt relaxed instantaneously. The space was spotless with everything considered. The hot tubs and sauna were wonderful luxuries with the verandas thoughtfully sheltered from the breeze and the kayak’s in the lake which our boys enjoyed. The communication from start to when we left was proactive and clear with Kamil kindly meeting us at the cottages to guide us to the house and show us around. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon.
