My stay at Chris’s place was absolutely perfect! The home was exactly as described—spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The location was convenient, with beautiful nature and privacy. Chris’s was an exceptional host—friendly, responsive, and thoughtful, with great attention to detail. From the smooth check-in process to the helpful tips, everything was seamless. I would 100% recommend this property to anyone visiting the area, and I’d love to stay here again next time I’m in town!

You won’t believe it until you see it!!!! The most incredible view that just goes on forever…we brought 2 dogs and the surroundings were absolutely perfect for them. Sean was great and kept in touch with us the whole week, even brought us fresh eggs from his hens!!!! Everything was perfect and we had an awesome time.

This place is worth more than five stars! It is so beautiful and peaceful there, and the house is big and comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Nous avons adoré notre séjour d'un mois, la maison voici les points forts: Résidence bien située pour découvrir l'Île du Cap Breton et ses alentours. Endroit très calme et éloigné des voisins, juste en face de la marina. Belle résidence, très propre, pleine de belles fenêtres, confortable et bien climatisée Foyer extérieur et pergolas très appréciés. Tous les services et restaurations sont à moins d'un kilomètre La nature est très présente tout autour de la maison (cerf, renards, écureuils, crabes, cormorans, hérons, geai bleu, martin pêcheur, etc..). Les points à tenir en compte: Absence de rideau dans la chambre à coucher principale. Absence de moustiquaire dans toutes les fenêtres alors, ont choisi les moustiques ou l'air climatisée. Table à manger pour seulement 6 personnes assises (annoncé; maximum de 8 voyageurs). Cuisine très sommairement équipée Beaucoup d'ampoules sont brûlées à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur et aucune Un gros merci à nos hôtes pour le séjour!

Jennie and Guy were amazing hosts. They were extremely helpful and accommodating. Their cozy home has ample space on the main level for indoor living if you ever needed a break day. The deck is large and private and probably my favourite part of the house. The kitchen is extremely well stocked which made cooking away from home an enjoyable experience. The home gets a great breeze from the ocean which kept things cool on the inside and left us with no bugs on the outside! Jennie and Guy provided some excellent tips for things to do in the area and we used the home as a jump off point to see many other fun things in Cape Breton. While not immediately on the ocean, you can still see it from the deck and they were happy to share their kayaks and paddle board with us. A very nice perk which you won't find in many places. The little island is picturesque with lots of beautiful scenery to explore. The local beach was sandy and warm and the two pubs we went to were quite nice as well. Overall, I would highly recommend it. The value for money was extremely fair and we had a great experience overall. Thanks for the memories!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Melissa's home. We arrived late and woke up to the breath-taking view. We took a walk down to the docks and it was a beautiful way to spend the morning. Everything was perfect at the house, with everything we needed. Highly recommend.

A very nice and homely cottage right by calm water in Isle Madame. It’s well equipped in all aspects.

Our weekend at this location was beautiful! The house is beautiful with so much natural light and stunning views of the lake. The decor was lovely and very well curated. The hot tub and sauna were relaxing, private and offered such a special experience being right on the water. I would highly recommend staying here and hope to come back myself!!

Liane was an amazing host, she was proactive with letting us know everyrhing we needed to, and her response time to any communications was always very quick. The accomodations were just what we were needing, private, clean, relaxing and we had a great time out in the kayaks aswell as the hot tub was fantastic. I would highly recommend her cottages to anyone looking to unplug and recharge.

We had an amazing stay. Such a cozy modern cabin. it had everything we needed and the host was always quick and responsive anytime we messaged her. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice peaceful break with beautiful scenery. We will for sure be going back in the future

Beautiful location and beautiful cottage. Pristine condition and everything a person needs to settle in. We came prepared with our own items but they have provided many things. It is set up to have an experience and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Get some lobster and relax!

We had a lovely time at Cottage Bear! The setting was very peaceful and the hot tub/sauna area was private, and lovely at nighttime. The cottage was comfortable with gorgeous wood features throughout, and the kitchen was very functional and well-stocked. I would highly recommend this location for a relaxing weekend getaway.

We had an exceptional stay at Chris's place! The space was super clean and cozy, making us feel right at home. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable—we slept like babies. One of the highlights was the hot tub, which was honestly one of the cleanest we’ve ever seen. Chris was always responded quick. Everything about our stay exceeded expectations. Highly recommend!
