Step outside and there are over 25 miles of forestry track starting from the front door and the 4.5 mile long Alwen Reservoir just 5 minutes walk away. Our place is in the village of Rhuddlan near a 13th century church and castle, the River Clwyd, the Clwydian Hills, the beaches of Rhyl & Prestatyn, and the North Wales Expressway (A55). The peaceful, historic village has small local shops, tea rooms, pubs, restaurants and takeaways. The modern, ground floor annex is private, with its own front door, hall, bedroom with 2 single beds, bathroom with shower and small kitchenette. It is good for couples, solo adventurers and business travellers.

Tyddyn Morgan is a historic cottage nestling on the edge of the woods in the quiet of the hills. A cosy lounge has a wood burner in the inglenook fireplace for those chilly nights. A well equipped kitchen with dining table. The two bedrooms with a double in the master and bunks in the second makes this a cosy cottage for two or the family. Explore country lanes from the doorstep or we are only a mile from the sea and a welcoming base to explore North Wales from or just stay in and relax.

Set in a cottage garden on a hillside above the town of Llangollen our lovely blue cabin has panoramic views across town towards Castell Dinas Bran and the Horseshoe Pass. Beautiful Llangollen is great for a break any time of year. Sit with a drink on the decking, or in front of the little log burner, and watch the sunset over the mountains, or the snow sweeping in along the valley. Take a glass of sparkly and have a bath under the stars.
