This is a perfect place for a group who want to feel privacy, close to nature and still convenient travel. I could recommend it more and already have another visit booked! Ideal for good weather.

The charming cottage was just as described, well equipped, spotlessly clean and good clear instructions left in the property. All appliances were easy to use including heating and bed was very comfortable. Although there is no parking, which is very rare in Staithes, it was easy to park up and unload, having stayed in Staithes many times I knew what to expect especially that climb out of the village! This time I used Glen Vale Car Park, this is a private car park and CCTV monitored which gives piece of mind. I definitely would recommend a stay here.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful and fantastically located cottage. Mitch was freindly and responsive, even given us prior warning of a potential power cut. The house was well equipped, warm and clean. I would recommend staying here.

Had an amazing hen do here! The host was lovely and super fast at responding whenever I had any questions. Can’t recommend the cottage enough! The hot tub was the icing on the cake. Thank you for a lovely weekend x

Everything about this venue is lovely. Dog friendly, nice decor inside. 200m walk to a local pub which served great food. The WiFi struggled at times but only a minor issue as there was absolutely no signal on my phone. The only downside to the whole stay is that I was charged £50 to use the hot tub for two nights and I had to heat it myself as it was a natural one. If I was using their electric then fair enough but using extra wood (that I brought just in case) to do it myself, the price felt excessive. Also having spoken to family about some of the places they had stayed the cleaning fee of £50 felt a touch high compared to other properties of similar size. A few minor issues but overall a superb location and would recommend to others.

Just got home from a lovely weekend at Michael's place. It was cosy, quirky and beautifully decorated (reminded us a little of The Funky Monk). The stained glass window is stunning. We had everything we needed and more and the extra touches were very thoughtful and added to a lovely stay. The bathroom is just beautiful. We were lucky and managed to park outside the property and didn't realise just how close the high street was located. We will definitely recommend. Many thanks for a fab stay.

The cottage was absolutely lovely, cosy and welcoming, everything you needed, home from home. I wanted to get away from it all and this property certainly provided me with a great location to explore the coast, lovely walks with my dog and was so quiet, it was heaven. If you want to hear real stillness and nature at its best, this is the place for you. The Bed was really comfy with good showering facilities, couldn’t fault it. Simon and Jo very helpful and friendly, introduced themselves to me. I will be back soon. I was just wondering if What three words would help re location as I did struggle with locating the property.
