Our Airbnb and Trip Advisor 5-star rated town centre garden apartment has become a firm favourite with new and returning guests in recent years.

Built in 1864 and boasting many of its original period features, plus all of the facilities for modern living. Centrally located, the apartment is five minutes walk to the Old Course. Sleeping four in up to three beds, the space offers extremely flexible accommodation at a surprisingly affordable price.

One of the original properties in our highly regarded Character Collection, this unusually large one bedroom apartment is set in a prime town centre location. The space offers flexible accommodation for up to four guests with a bedroom that can be arranged as a twin or Superking and large sitting room fitted with a screened double.

The apartment forms part of an impressive and imposing Victorian terrace build in the 1860's. Fortunately the property retains many of it's original features including beautiful cornicing, ceiling roses, doors, skirting, and fireplace. It of course also boasts a wide range of modern facilities including an efficient heating system, secondary double glazing, smoke, heat and CO alarms, on-demand TV, and unlimited WiFi.

The impressive Victorian sitting room with original bay window is a large and bright space featuring sitting and dining areas. A sizeable double bedroom to the rear incorporates a large amount of built-in storage and benefits from views over the private garden space. The kitchen is fitted with fridge freezer, cooker, washing machine, microwave and electric kettle. The bathroom features one of the baths from the original townhouse and an over-bath electric shower.

Unusually for this historic town centre location the apartment features a large private garden space with patio area including table, chairs and a picnic bench.

The location is incredibly convenient for all of St Andrews major attractions with the Old Course, university, abbey, castle, plus all bars, restaurants, and retail within a few minutes walk.

As you would expect, the apartment is serviced prior to your arrival by professional contractors and fitted with professionally supplied hotel quality linen and towels.

PLEASE NOTE: We state that the apartment is not suitable for young children due to a raised walkway (with railings) from the kitchen to the garden. Many families have stayed with us without issue and we are happy to give more details.

Also, the standard bed configuration is Superking and Double. If you prefer Twin and Double please specify at time of booking.

Check-in from 4PM onwards using the on-site key-box. Unfortunately, as we operate multiple busy properties serviced by an external cleaning contractor, we are no longer able to offer changes to arrival or departure times without an additional expedite charge. Any changes are subject to availability and should be requested at time of booking.

Paid and free parking is less than 3 minutes walk from the front door.

Program your Sat Nav with Post/ZIP code KY16 9XD. Alternatively transfer from the airport by rail. A regular tram service from the airport connects to the main east coast railway line at the new Edinburgh Gateway station in a few minutes. Transfer to a Scotrail, LNER, or Cross Country train service to Leuchars. St. Andrews town centre is a 10 minute taxi ride from Leuchars station.
