Charming heritage house with original hardwood floors and updated kitchen and bath. Lots of natural light throughout this spacious home, with plenty of room for your large group. Ample parking and a large yard. Just 1 block from the beach, across from a large park with playground, and only 15 minutes drive to downtown.

Medium size room. Queen size bed, desk, and closet.

Bedroom # 2/Family Room
Medium size room. Double sofa bed, TV, and gas fireplace.

Living Room
Sofa bed that pulls up to a double bed. Gas fireplace.

Dining Room
Extendable table seats 10. Sliding patio doors lead to deck with BBQ.

Kitchen
Full stove, fridge, sink, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, all pots, pans, and dishes.

Bathroom
Updated and has a bathtub

Upstairs
3 bedrooms, 1 ensuite master bathroom, 1 full bathroom with shower. Fully carpeted.

Master Bedroom
Very large room with views of the ocean and mountains. King size bed, lots of closet space, dressing nook with built in dresser.

Bedroom # 4
Small room with view of ocean and mountains. Queen bed and large mirrored closet.

Bedroom # 5
Small room. Queen size bed, desk, night tables, lamps, and closet.

Downstairs
1 mini suite with 1 bedroom, and half bathroom, 1 mini kitchen, 1 shower, 1 laundry area, deep freeze, 2 extra fridges

Mini Suite and Bedroom #6
Large living/family room with a separate bedroom. Carpeted. Half bathroom includes sink and toilet. Bedroom has a king size bed with two twin mattresses, and converts to two twin beds.

Downstairs Mini Kitchen and Laundry Area
Laundry area with exposed rafter beams, visible electrical wiring, exposed hot water tank, and exposed ducting. Has a painted concrete floor, area rugs, kitchen table, kitchen cart with sink, microwave, toaster, and kettle. The shower room is off of the mini kitchen/laundry area. There is a door to the backyard. The deep freeze and fridges are around the corner in an unfinished storage area.

Please note the downstairs has been set up to be useable and cute, but it is not completely finished and feels industrial/rustic and has visible wiring running through the rafters.

Front yard and backyard are spacious. Driveway parking in the front. Free street parking in the front for many vehicles--please be respectful of the neighbours.

Families are welcome but we have not child proofed the house. Please ask any safety questions you may have.

Please note the basement mini suite is completely finished but the small mini kitchen/laundry area is not. The mini kitchen/laundry area has been set up to be cute, but there is exposed wiring in the rafters.

This house is occupied by students during most of the year who leave during the summer, and we are not the owners of the house. We will do our best to respond to any maintenance issues as quickly as possible, but we often have to contact the owners first and get their approval, so it can take time.

Do not expect a luxury experience. This is an older home with basic furnishings in an amazing location. It is priced for the number of people it can accommodate and for its location just 1 minute walk to the beach and close to downtown Vancouver.

This is a self-serve rental. Please expect to do all the things you would do at your own home. We cannot offer concierge service and this is not a hotel. Please expect to provide most of your own amenities: we provide the first few rolls of toilet paper and paper towels, but you should purchase what you need for your stay on arrival. If previous guests left oil, salt, and other condiments then there will be some for your stay: if not, then you should count on buying these items.

The cleaning people we hire do a surface clean which includes changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, and mopping floors, but they do not do any deep cleaning. The dishes in the kitchen and the BBQ outside will be as clean as the last guests left them. Please do leave the dishes clean for the next guests. The cleaning fee we charge does not even fully cover the cost of paying the cleaners and paying the laundromat to clean the linens, so do not ask us for a refund if the house isn't as clean as you want. If you are particular about your cleaning please expect to do the extra cleaning yourself. The cleaners sometimes help out if something at the house needs someone to take a look, but they do not have any authority to make repairs.
