Our light and airy cottage was completed in 2014 & provides a spotless rural space perfect for a couple, small families or friends to come together for a memorable stay. 5 star amenities provided, you'd think you were in a hotel in the countryside! Come and say hello to our chickens, sample their delicious eggs over a lazy breakfast. Head out for a walk in the bucolic Vale of Belvoir, maybe take in a country pub, then home to cosy up in front of the log burner with some of our home-made cake 🍰

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Set next to Hartshay Brook and along a beautiful Bridle lane, amidst rolling countryside with stunning walks straight from the door. Lower Hartshay is a hidden gem, a tiny rural village in Derbyshire. The cottage is along a former tow path behind a picket fence. Inside it boasts a quirky layout with log burner,beams and a stone stairwell to the large kitchen. Enjoy the paddock to the front and seating terrace to the rear looking over the brook.

Toast marshmallows around a fire pit. Explore bridle paths on the farm which link to neighbouring villages or visit the historic Minster town of Southwell. Upton is a small village, two miles from Southwell, with country walks and a local pub serving hot food.

Sleepover with Miniature horse Basil

Basils Barn is situated on the grounds of a 17th century manor, surrounded by a picturesque 60 acre estate. The bedroom is directly attached to Basils stable, where there is a doorway in between the two spaces. In the paddocks we also have a herd of Highland cows, Hebridean sheep, horses, pigs, chickens and Norwegian Forrest cats. Our animals are mostly rescued and all of our animals are kept strictly as pets.

It is the annexe to a large Victorian house but has a modern newly refurbished interior and oozes both charm and comfort.
