“We've never been to the lobster house but it is always busy! Just a short drive over the Cape-May bridge.”

“Casual restaurant and bar. Definitely gives you the beach side feel. Food is ok. They have a great set-up outside during summer. If you don't decide to eat here, just stop by and check-out their outdoor area. They also have live music in the inside bar. ”

“I have wonderful memories of this place from my 20's. My friends and I spent many nights here and next door. Also, if you think you should wait a little bit before driving then walking along the boardwalk is a great way to make sure you are good to drive. ”

“Happy hour on friday nights is wonderful. "5 for 5" offers 5 unique appetizers and a nice red and white wine- all for 5 each. Also, $1 oysters. Busy, small, charming bar area which is sometimes too crowded but worth the wait. The restaurant is also excellent.”

“Great Breakfast and Coffee. Try the Crab Benedict, if you love seafood. Local fresh eggs, great berries and yogurt.... Fire place for colder days . You can eat in a colonial tavern room, sunny glassed in porch or lovely umbrella-ed patio. ”

“This is actually hotel/restaurant and bar with an upscale atmosphere, piano bar on weekends, cozy, happening place. Has a nice porch bar. Unfortunately, the food has often been disappointing in spite of being very expensive. ”

“Good place to stop coming off the beach. Great rooftop bar with live music late afternoon into the evening. Perfect view of the ocean. Famous drink: Orange Crush with fresh squeezed oranges....delish! Food: apps are good, meals are okay. ”

“Cape May's Oldest Tavern (dating back to the 1800s), this off-the-beaten-path spot is a locals favorite year-round and is filled with the real Cape May... old signs and photos adorn the walls. The owner Gary, is incredibly warm and inviting, there is a great bar (this is a great place to watch a game) and the wings are amazing. You can order ahead and pick up takeout. Kid friendly. Great for large groups. The only catch - there is not actually a "sea view" ;) Much preferred to the pubs and similar restaurants on the touristy end of Washington Street in town which get super busy.”

“My fave restaurant. Excellent food! Chicken Francese is delish. Needs reservation and more formal. I would suggest to call at the beginning of your stay. They have great live piano music. Bar is great too. I think it's suitable for kids as it's not a "quiet" restaurant, where your younger childrens' chatter can be heard. I have taken my children here quite often. They too love the food (mac and cheese and the mashed potato cup). ”
