“The best BBQ in town. There are many sauces to choose from but really the ribs are so delicious you don't even need sauce. Get there early because some favorites can sell out--ask for "burnt ends" which is a crazy name for something so good.”

“Seven Saints is my favorite restaurant. It has a cozy atmosphere, indoor and outdoor seating, a variety of tasty plates, and the best cocktail list in town. It's a great value for the price, in my opinion. Expect to spend $10-$30 per person depending on what you choose to eat and drink. The kitchen stays open until 11 pm and the bar stays open later.”

“This is the best place to get a quiet cup of coffee at night when the other places are closed. They also serve food, but I have not tried much on the menu.”

“This place has authentic, delicious Chinese food. It is always made fresh, so sometimes there's a bit of a wait, but it's worth it. You will want to peruse the menu ahead of time if you're ordering for take out, and it's just about 5 minutes from the house. ”

“Seriously every employee we encountered said hello or asked how was the show. The friendliest crew east of the Mississippi (with the Art Theater coming in as a close second!).”

“Perhaps Champaign's favorite brewery/bar. A hip place with a lot of character and a pretty stellar selection, no matter what kind of brew you usually go for. A lot of good stuff on tap. It has two locations in downtown Champaign, both are pretty cool. This location has the brewing tanks, a greater selection on tap, and large outdoor patio. The other Blind Pig (the block next to this one, on Walnut street) has more indoor seating, some outdoor seating, and dart boards. ”

“This restaurant is a bit of a sports bar and can get loud and crowded at night. I prefer going there at lunchtime or as a first stop in the evening for a gourmet boozy shake before the nighttime crowd rolls in. They have the best burgers in town and amazing nachos.”
