“HOLY MOTHER OF BEER TAPS, BATMAN! Wanna catch them all? Literally? All of them? I'm pretty sure you can find at least a dozen beers here you'll love. This place has 366 individual taps of beer, setting the new world record for most beers on tap last I checked. Oh.. and the food is amazing too! Oh, did I mention... ITS HUGE!? Three floors to explore and a hugeeeee outdoor seating area. Honestly? Just go here. It's one of my favorite places and it will soon be yours too. I could spend an hour describing all my favorites on tap here, but i'll just have you try some yourself. The UNTAPPED beer app is very very handy for sorting through what's best on this beer list, and the barkeeps are very helpful in guiding you to a new brew too. I'd try to stick to lunch and early afternoon. Glenwood Ave is a circus late nights on the weekend, it's really hard to get your UBER to you through all the traffic during late night. ”

“Not your typical fried chicken. Owner just won the highly prestigious National James Beard award in 2019. Highly recommend the chicken and honey.”

“A four in one stop! Voted as one of the USA's top 10 new restaurants. A flower shop, restaurant, bookstore, and brewery. This place, while a little on the pricier side, has an incredibly cool vibe to it, great for a date night or special occasion! Their cocktails are on point, great list of wine and local beers, dim sum and dumplings are amazing here, and their pork steam buns are outta this world. ”

“Another Raleigh hot spot for great house brewed beers! Best for lunch, the space is small and the seating is limited, fills up in the evening quick! Dog friendly outdoor seating and mean flatbread pizza! Brews to try here would be the Cloud Surfer IPA the Trophy Wife IPA, as well as the Trophy Husband Whitbier. For a fruity beer, I quite liked the Mango they had on tap. For the ZA, best strategy is to order smaller pizzas so you can mix and share slices. If you like a little spice, the "Daredevil" ghost pepper salami pizza will get you sniffling, but the "Indoor Kid" with white sauce, provolone, and marinated artichokes is my personal favorite. ”

“Big Ed's is one of the last original breakfast diners that actually feels like an old-school diner. It's part of City Market, one of the oldest areas in Downtown Raleigh. You'll enjoy cobble stone roads & walkways and fun historical pieces throughout the restaurant.”

“THIS JUST IN: The new brewmaster here is from Big Boss beer, so the beer has gotten really great. New owners so Boylan Bridge Brewpub is on the up and UP! The food will be improving as they're hiring a new chef SOON. This is great news for our neighborhood... you can walk here in about 10 minutes, just at the top of our neighborhood. Side-note: the outside patio is the IT place to go in the summer and boasts the best skyline views of Raleigh from the bridge.”
