Restaurante portugués
“Home to the legendary flame-grilled PERi-PERi chicken. Afro-Portuguese inspired. South African born. Whether you are eating in the restaurants or getting a take-away, the very taste of their famous PERi-PERi-chicken and the warmth and pride with which it is delivered, are proof of their passion. The restaurant chain originates in South Africa, with a Mozambican/Portuguese theme! Filled with vibrant colours, incredible patterns and interesting mixes of old and new, the African interior design pays homage to the original roots in a fresh, exciting way that’s packed with heat and a lot of heart!”

Tienda de pasteles
“A Reading institution, Sweeney and Todd's pie shop is appropriately located next to a barber shop. Its décor may have seen better days, but it serves a fantastic range of pies (albeit more suited to carnivores - vegans best eat elsewhere). Good, simple fare at affordable prices - pies are also available to take away. ”

“This bar in Reading is a hot spot for live music gigs, with regular performances from top notch musicians and a thriving atmosphere every night of the week. Open until 2am at the weekends, this late night bar in Reading's buzzing city centre is always a great place to take your mates and let loose. The Ruby Jean Diner inside served up some quality American grub too, so line your stomach with some fine food before you get on that booze.”
