Relatively easy 2.5 mile total out and back hike up to the Pine creek falls, or if you're fit (and have bear spray with you!) you can keep going further up the trail to the to the lake. I highly recommend the hike up to the falls to anyone, even if you have kids. This is a very popular area for hiking and walking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The best times to visit this trail are May through October. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash (although I often encounter people without their dogs on a leash).

Pine Creek Falls

I highly recommend the hike up to the falls to anyone, even if you have kids. This is a very popular area for hiking and walking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The Campground has 35 tent and trailer campsites, restrooms, and drinking water. A small fee is required. Fishing and boating may be enjoyed at Dailey Lake. A disabled accessible fishing pier, boat dock and shade shelter are available. Existing ADA Level: Easy Accessibility.
To reach Dailey Lake Campground from Emigrant, take East River Road to Six Mile Creek Rd, then to Daily Lake Rd (all gravel once you turn off of East River Rd.) There's also a way to access it from the South end of East River Road.
