This is a great place to get sandwiches and pizza, they also have another business in the building; Aunty Daisy's Donuts here. They make their own donuts and delicious breakfast sandwiches. The staff is friendly and the food is great. There are video games to play there as well, and if you don't feel like going out, they deliver.

This is one of our favorite places to go! The views are amazing, the service is great and the food delicious! Try the seafood potato skins and one of their specialty drinks, you won't be dissapointed!

Stop at Sherman's Market for any of their prepared food, snacks, or order something to go. This market also has some produce, dairy products, meat, fish and chicken; so you can stop here to get some groceries while supporting a great local business. Then drive down the road just a few house and grab some fresh flowers for sale by one of the neighbors, $5.00 for a lovely bouquet and unique vase. Truly another gem in this lovely village.

This lovely church is where I teach preschool during the school year. Pastor Paul Hayes gives a lovely sermon and the community is very welcoming.

Sightseeing
This is a great local beach and there are summer concerts here every Thursday evening. You can park at the high school and take a shuttle bus to the concert, or pay for parking. Pack a picnic, a blanket and chairs, fun for everyone! If you want to bring adult beverages, just put them in cups not displaying the content and it will be fine.

Groton Long Point RdThis is a great local beach and there are summer concerts here every Thursday evening. You can park at the high school and take a shuttle bus to the concert, or pay for parking. Pack a picnic, a blanket and chairs, fun for everyone! If you want to bring adult beverages, just put them in cups not displaying the content and it will be fine.
This is a very historical resort that was torn down and rebuilt. I believe it was voted #1 resort in America.
I have a special place in my heart for the Ocean House, I worked there before it was torn down and have visited since it was rebuilt. You feel like your stepping back in time when visiting this iconic resort.
Tea time is held in the afternoon and croquette is set up on the Ocean House lawn. Cabanas are for rent on the beach (for a high price) but even if you stop in for a glass of iced tea, this is one place you want to add to your bucket list.
