Food Scene

I'm not remotely objective because I work for GIY and GROW HQ is our amazing award winning cafe and garden with a very strong commitment to only serving seasonal food most of which we grow ourselves and the rest we source from local producers. Great breakfasts, the best scones (and we don't skim on the butter and home made jam to go with them!) and a great bistro menu at weekends.

Entertainment & Activities

You absolutely have to go for a cycle on the Greenway! It goes from Dungarvan to Waterford and from the cottage in Bunmahon you can join in greenway a Kilmacthomas which is less than 10 mins drive away - no idea how long it take to cycle there! You can hire bikes or use your own and it is really brilliant. Great coffee at The Coach House in Kilmac too.
