The place you can enjoy Matsushima
Kankei is a building of historical significance.
From the tea room you can enjoy the beautiful view of Matsushima Bay.
You can also enjoy Matcha(green tea) with beautiful Japanese sweets while enjoying the scenery.

It is strongly recommended that you get on the boat when you come to Matsushima. There are over 260 islands in Matsushima Bay, and you can enjoy beautiful views.
However, only a part can be seen from the land. Ships sailing in the bay do not shake.

**Marubun-Matsushima-Kisen
You can choose two courses.
1. Around Matsushima Bay
2. Matsushima to Shiogama (Also in the opposite direction
Both courses take about 50 minutes.
10:00 to 15:00.
Both courses are one flight per hour.

Kamaboko is a fish paste cake which eaten after grilled.
You can try grill Kamaboko and taste.

Speaking of Matsushima's specialties, it is a Kamaboko.

You will be delighted by the wonderful architecture that has been colored in the many history.
The caves found everywhere are dug for holding a memorial service.
Inside the main building you can see a picture of a sliding door that gold leaf is used abundantly.
These are arts rooted in Buddhism.
And you can feel the beauty of Japan.
